its an obscure devision TBF not many known fighters out there, i doubt frank would pit some unknown talented jap with great skill against wee ricky too much risk and would it really sell tickets? the fight that would sell tickets would be a fight against the overrated adrien broner or litzau the last 2 opponents burns has fought are levels below any 1 who's ranked by the ring top 10, and a few of those ranked in the top 10 are not even world level 130 is a weak as **** devision its in shambles,

Terrible fight. Frank Warren becomes more of a joke as the years roll on. Ricky Burns should tell frank to eff off with these crap fights. Billy Nelson and Burns must be happy making money in non-competitive fights.
Get ready folks. Cook's fighting Youseef Al Hamidi with his 8-33-2 (1) record over 6 rounds on Saturday's undercard. His win will propel him into the WBO rankings. Same thing happened with Stephen Foster Jr a few years ago when he outpointed Jason Nesbett (then 7-76-2) over 6 rounds. From being unranked Foster went straight in at number 7 on the strength of this win - for his proposed shot at then champ Cook (which I believe had been announced before the ratings had actually been announced.) Boxing News ran a big story on how this was allowed to happen...NOT! It's why I never, ever go to Warren shows...and to think he thinks it's disgraceful that the BBC don't want to show this.
