Right, wasn't sure on that one. Was it the European title he won a couple of times?

Diaconu will pull the upset with a close decision
I expect a MD or SD
I hope he's in his best shape and we will have a very entertaining fight!

Come on. No one sane thought that Dawson was ducking Diaconu. Dawson was clearly the superior fighter and even vacated to take tougher fights.

I definitely give Diaconu a chance especially since he is a good puncher but I think Dawson is going to be too skilled for him and will win a comfortable UD.

Another ****ing idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about.:rofl:-(
When will you realize that it was The Shark who pulled out of the fight the very first time when they agreed to fight?:patsch When the Shark said he was ready to fight later Dawson moved on to fight Tarver and Johnson. How is that ducking when he signed to fight the Shark but the shark pulled out he moved on to fight better and more proven fighters?:deal

Too bad this fight couldn't have been made years ago. Sadly, Chad ducked the fight and dropped his belt to do so. The guy actually went to Mexico to lobby the organization head about not fighting Diaconu. Pathetic.

Neither fighter has quite the luster he once had. I'm leaning towards Dawson by UD. I actually forgot this fight was tomorrow. Just shows you how far the stock of both men has dropped.

Answer me this? How is it ducking when you agree to fight and one guy pulls out and you move on to fight better and more proven fighters? What is the guy suppose to do? Put his career on hold? Or fight guys with bigger names and bigger money??? Dawson didn't duck The Shark he simply moved on to fight better guys, get it right.:deal

No. He does seem to have ducked The Shark, and did so a couple of times, according to at least one report.

    Read this:

Diaconu got hurt the first time they were supposed to fight. A legit, documented injury. After that, Dawson ducked him like the plague. Sad, but apparently also undeniably true.

I've never been high on Dawson. As talented as he is, he just does not seem to have the heart or mental makeup of a champion. Still, I think he wins tomorrow night.
