You take the weight that each fighter can cut down to without the ill effects of the weight cut being greater than the advantage gained from fighting smaller opponents. If that weight is in the same division for both fighters, then they are the same size.

uhh yeah dumbass, genetics, like having bigger biceps, thighs, calves, forearms, fist, neck and head. i.e bigger.

Oh and the fact that he carries power up to welter wherein Marquez looked like a toddler swinging at a grown man when he fought Mayweather, :nut

Not what I said. I said Floyd is a midget to me. Anyone below 5'10 is a midget to me.

If this fight follows the 'same day weigh-in' both guys would have no problem at all making the weight because they are both the same size. So I want to ask, If 'same day weigh in' is in effect, do you think JMM would love to dehydrate that much? only a fool would.

Because Mayweather is bigger. Which Pacquiao isn't.

Pacquiao is possibly 15lbs lighter than Mayweather.

If the same day weigh in was in effect, Marquez would have to fight at welterweight. Maybe light welter but I don't know if he could lose 5lbs of water and put it back on healthily in a day.

That's what people have said, Marquez included. You said he looked like a "toddler" compared to Mayweather yet Marquez weighed 148lbs on fight night. Considering he looked like a "toddler" is it beyond reason that Mayweather was 12lbs heavier?

How could Marquez possibly look like a "toddler next to a grown man" if there was 2lbs difference? Because you also said that Mayweather had never weighed over 150lbs.

By the way, I was wrong. marquez said Mayweather was 15lbs heavier. He certainly looked that way.

So Marquez weighs 148lbs and you think he looks like a "toddler" in comparison to Mayweather who weighs...what? You tell me what he would have weighed on fight night against Marquez.

I really don't understand your point about size and weight. It's a completely ****, bizarre point that I've never seen anyone else make, ever. 148lbs is still ****ing 148lbs, no matter how well or poorly your body carries it.

Clearly you are still to dumb to understand the difference between weight and size. I can weigh as much as Vitali Klitscko if I wanted to. Does that make us the same size moron?

Please post the sources that state Mayweather was 160 on fight not. Please dont try to deflect like you usually do when I best you.

Please explain to everyone here how Mayweather despite never gaining weight after the pre fight weigh in somehow gains 14lbs before he fight Marquez to weigh 160 when he never weighed 150 before. Please explain to everyone why you believe this is so.

Or you could just say. "im a biased ******, instead of supporting my argument by saying Marquez and Mayweather were near the same size, I'll just say that Mayweather outweighed Marquez by 14lbs n fight night with nothing to back up my assertions"

What ever suits you best. :good

in my opinion he did. He gave exciting fights but that was due to the playing field being leveled due to size and being slowed down at the higher weight. The reality is that he doesn't look like the same fighter since he moved up in weight, like most Mexicans and most other fighters who bulk up to get to a higher weight. Very few are able to move up and still look good (Manny, Roy, etc).
