NEVER-SEEN pics ?: Ali vs. Frazier, 1971

    All right guys, saw this set from life on another sports forum and thought you crazy peoples would like them. It says they have never been seen before, but im sure many of you experts have seen at least some of them, but any way enjoy if you aint some good pics and nice descriptions of them

    The photo of Joe on the trumpet is one of the coolest boxing related photos I've seen.

    What do you reckon about the shot of Ali with the gut?, was he not training properly?, underestimating Joe ?, or just being lazy ?.

    I assume you're talking about pic 7, right? It looks worse side on that what it really was.

    In pic #7 Ali does look in poor flabby shape, but that was likely a month or so before the bout.

    Check out pic #12 where Ali is significantly better conditioned.

    Thanks Joe. A legendary fight, nothing tops the FOTC for me, in build-up and actual fight.

    Nice also to see a young Foreman on there. I can't imagine he'd be looking forward to fight Frazier after seeing that.
