The only way VDS plays, is if Fergie lets him takes the plaudits with it being his last game at Old Trafford. Otherwise, the guy needs wrapping in cotton wool. This game has no meaning why take the risk?

Same with other VIP's. Rio's always carrying a knock so he won't be playing, neither will vidic and Park. Carrick will play at wembley, he's served the team well in his current position in the latter stages of the season.

Can't see the relevance of last year European cup final. The fact that there in it this year, gives the importance of playing a weaker side, as they did last year.

You were the one who raised the point about them playing a weakened side against Hull, not me :D

I suppose it depends on the state the players are in, but if it were me I'd rather have a group primed and ready to go than players that have been kicking their heels for two weeks.

    Each to their own :good

Playing safe mid table visiters, i could see half the 1st team playing. But not v a side fighting for their lives AND with Charlie Adam in it. This guy is filth.

Reckon Ferguson knows the script about cup finals preperations to be fair. There's a testimonial on tuesdayy also, maybe a kickabout for some other first teamers?

Keep tabs on that 8/13 if Rooney gets his wish.

I'd rather put money on Spurs to beat B'Ham. I think Man utd - blackpool is a dodgy game!!

I dunno, you can have bad tackles in any game to be honest.

As I say, it's only my opinion and you are entitled to disagree with it.... Fergie knows what he's doing of course.

I didn't mean in terms of how good they are! I mean they're one of few teams that will go to Old Trafford and actually try and win (mainly because they have to!)

    Nice little run out methinks.

    :thumbsup

Yes Spurs are a punters dream . What is it 2 wins in 16 games?

United v Blackpool is like buying money, did anyone see them at home v Bolton? Yes the same Bolton who have one of the worst away records in the league, Bolton should of scored 10. I can't believe the price on United easy money. :good

Everyone can say but Blackpool need to win they only needed to win 1/2 more games for the last 5 months but they couldnt they are shite.

Why not play the over 3.5 goals at 11/8?

If the smashing arrives luvly jubbly at better odds, with any blackpool goal a bonus.

Berbatov to score/Utd win at 7/4 looks tasty. He's scored 16 goals at old trafford, thats one in two games, including in the last 3 .

He's neck and neck with tevez for golden boot, so expect him to handed peno duties too.

berbatove is the bet here he is 7/2 with betfred to score first and is he scores again they double it and if he scores a hat trick they treble it so in theory you can get £180 IF HE SCORES FIRST AND SCORES AGAIN NOT BAD FOR A SCORE
