I know he fights where he lives. I'm not an idiot. What I say is he doesn't fight where he lives BECAUSE he is protected. He fights in Montreal because his opponents themselves like the pay cheque when they come here. Even Emmanuel Steward said yesterday he expects Dawson to come back to Montreal because it is the place to be nowadays. Soryy but that's a fact. About 10 champions come from USA today and something like 68 come from somewhere else. You'll have to live with that.

Even Hopkins could have fought in USA, his promoter won the purse bid. They chose to fight here. Same thing for Andrade-Bute 2. Do you really think that Bute is stupid enough to throw away 500 000$ just to please haters like you?

Money talks. Pavlik has fought 4 times in Youngstown because he only draws about 4000 people there.

About the home field advantage, when Pavlik the American fights Miranda the Colombian in Memphis, are you stupid enough not to see who has the home field advantage? It is Pavlik of course. Think a bit before writing things in capital letters.

To be fair to Lucian, he only lost once as a pro, so wouldn't say hes a loser.

But he's a hometown crook. His single biggest gamble was leaving Bell Centre in Montreal for Quebec City and Pepsi Coliseum.

 

When i jointed in at 2007, this was exactly the same excuse for Calzaghe as well. Actually they didn't want to fight Kessler, because the bigger fights was vs. Hopkins and Jones..........Calzaghe fans repeated this over and over and over and over and over and over and.............:think
