I said Hatton but not Cotto just because at time Mosely was the man and Cotto was at that catch weight. All manny didn't ask for was Cotto to fight with his hands behind his back. Cotto said himself if its at 145 no title then but of course Arum fixed that lol
come on you dont think ray leonard waited for hagler to get old? and avoided a hearns rematch for years, he isnt the right guy for your argument.
****....no, we can't! You may not have been around at the time Ray was dominating the sport but I was. And Ray got JUST as much hate that PAC does. They said he ducked MANY fighters in his day...they said he waited for fighters to get old, like hagler to catch him on the slide...they said he cherry picked and the whole nine. Don't get it twisted....Men in PACs position like Ray ALL had to deal with the outlandish ciritism that comes with the territory of being the "MAN" in your profession. Haters are on their grind 24/7 365! They got a job to do and most are diligent in their efforts. I agree PAC's moves have been short, explosive bursts as he's flown through division after divsiion. So his legacy at 135, 140, 147 and 154 aren't as solid as the lower weight classes where he's dedicated more time. But those wins at the higher weight classes will be seen as tremendous feats COLLECTIVELY! His overall career has been quite impressive based on his domination of good to GREAT opposition who are holding PHYSICAL advantages over the smaller man. Floyd is the same way...it's just Floyd doesn't get as much credit b/c Floyd creates contraversy and hasn't looked for challenges as much as PAC has. People are critical of PAC but if you compare reusmes you clearly see who has done more, against better opposition in more challenging situations.
On a serious note I was just having fun been on the road a lot working and couldn't help myself. These two need to fight asap. They both have taken easy fights through their career and gotten easy paydays for it. They both have lots of former world champs and champs on their resumes. With that being said Both of these B@tches need to fight already **** it has been 2 years of this bull ****. PBF is the definition of a pure boxer with all the tools for any style while Manny just is a whirl wind of speed and activity that is hard to explain. Yeah Pac fights with out good technique and all but that style he has mastered. Now lets see which one wins. They say Defense wins in all sports well this is the best Defense vs the best offense in the game. On that note I am out till next time.
All in the kool aid and don't know the flavor lol. I didn't bring up Ray who I would never compare Pac to, another poster brought it up on the first page.
I'll be that Corky! I don't see many ******s going around calling normal folk "idiots' but I find it amusing. Josh is a nobody maybe to you. After all you are probably the KING of all the Short Bus Riders in your area. I'm sure Josh can't compare to the helmet wearing scholars who make up your unique community. LOL Josh dominated Judah worse than Floyd....But in boxing Josh is a top Welter weight and WAS when PAC beat him. Let's move on. Marg is also the fighter who beat the current Middle wieght Champ in Sergio...So I guess Sergio is a nobody as well right? AHAHA! It's just funny to me how you got that bug that Floyd has....the "EXCUSE BUG". You find every excuse in the book to rationalize why PAC ain't ****, yet have a mental block when it comes to giveing Floyd the same treatment. By the way.... i don't think Floyd ducked Cotto, Marg or Josh. I'm just letting you in on how you sound when you go on about why PAC isn't good or WHY Manny has been dominating. You sign off first.... I promise, I'll follow right after you.:yep
I'm from LA and a big Laker fan. But when I saw they were just trying to cruise this year, I stopped watching them as early as December. After the 2 back to back titles, I feel they became complacent. I felt disgusted watching them play. You get paid millions to play besketball, you want 100% effort and dedication.
Lmao for one I called your post idiotic not you. 2 Clottey is and always will be a nobody that Pac cherry picked coming off a loss. 3 Margo loss to Santos lol Santos on his best day is a D level fighter. 4 Margo beat a green Martinez at 147 not 154 or 160 where Martinez was a champion of the world. 5 Manny is the 2nd or 3rd best fighter on the planet easy so no way do I think Pac is not good. 6 The double standard is what is crazy for PBF compared to Pac just because PBF rubs people the wrong way. 7 Me on the short bus is just crazy lol unless now kids who ride the short bus are in nothing but honors classes as I was all through out school.
Couldn't agree more you hit the nail on the head. Hopefully they shake things up to bring some life back to this team because no coach should have to talk about effort and the Lakers clearly thought they were the best thing since sliced bread.
Lmao you do not need a trilogy when you out class people the way PBF out classes people. Who would you want to see PBF fight again? Pac on the other hand had close fights with other fighters because Pac and those fighters were on the same level. PBF level is hard to get on, that is why after he out classes you people don't need to see a rematch to see who the better fighter was or a third time just to be sure.
Relax....I like a little bit of "back and forth". its all in fun brother. Do you really think I believe a ****** has the faculties to log on to ESB, type out sentences that are structurally correct? Josh isn't a nobody kid...it shows you don't have a grasp for boxing in present day. Just bc Josh is NOT PAC, Floyd, Cotto or Hopkins doens't mean he's a "NOBODY". Jeez....99% of the boxing world are not on that level but it doesn't mean EVERYONE esle are absolute bums! PAC does PICK who he fights...as do EVERYONE else in position to be a "Shot Caller". But you are discrediting Josh when he was coming off a contraversial loss to Cotto. One many felt Josh pulled out. So Josh in your book is a nobody when he gave some of the TOP WW Champions some of their hardest fights? don't be silly man. When Marg lost to Santos, Marg wasn't exactly a seasoned, grizzly vet himself. See what I mean with you making excuses when it fits your agenda. Don't get lost in the sauce kid...it's hard to get out of that mindset when you let yourself go. Oh...and Santos beat Marg at 154...NOT 147 where Marg was champion of the world. PAC by the way is not 2 or 3 on the worlds BEST P4P boxers....he's actually #1 with no one remotely close to challenging his spot. There's some awesome talent and very strong names on the list but PAC is holding it down at #1. There are double standards...but the double standards happen both ways...depending on who is asking or who is telling, you'll get a warped view based on their agenda. PAC and Floyd are two of the best P4P fighters. It's arguably a very EVEN fight where the outcome is uncertain. But if we compare resumes...BEING UNBIASED....PAC runs away with that competiion without question! It's not a double standard it's real talk. IT may ruffle some feathers of those who love and support Floyd but it is what it is. Floyd has a legacy and so does PAC...based on SUBSTANCE and accomplishements PAC is simply better in this area. Hey...Floyd can always say he's "UNDEFEATED". PAC can't say that.
Floyd had close fights with DLH.....a tougher fight than expected with Ricky Hatton and a fight where some felt Floyd lost in JLC. True...Floyd outclasses MOST of his foes....and PAC usually Destroys his. And if PAC is on this "LEVEL" that is suppose to be beneath Floyd....Then why is Floyd so hesitant in making the fight? Doesn't sound like Floyd thinks he's on a level above Manny....
Both are dominant and really superb. One is active wiping out divisions( the state of the division can be argued but facts are facts he wiped it clean). One is semi retired with criminal charges popping one top of the other after accusing the other one of using Illegal Substances. Karma's a ***** ain't it?
Ok, for Manny I have: WBC Flyweight (+ Lineal) IBF Super Bantamweight Featherweight Lineal WBC Super Featherweight WBC Lightweight Junior Welterweight Lineal WBO Welterweight WBC Junior Middle So, that's 7 world titles and 3 lineal championships. What am I missing?
