    Uhhhh no

I think it's going to be impossible to overtake Ali and Louis with the way boxing is today and has been.

Ali's resume is on a different level. Lewis' is very good but there's no chance it's the best ever.

God no, this isn't even close imo.

Louis, ali, rocky and jeffries have far superior resume's. There is also an argument for sullivan having a better resume.

Lewis's is about the same as holyfield's resume. Obviously he's tougher h2h but their accomplishments aren't much apart which is why holyfield is one of the top p4p boxers in history

Ali's resume is light years ahead of Lennox's.

No show for the second Klichko fight hurt him. Had he showed and won it his resume would be the best.

Noy even close. LEnnox's resume is an example of cherrypicking at its finest. He waited for the best fighters to become fat, cocaine addicts or shot before he finally fought them (see Tyson, Tucker, Holyfield, Tua).

Please do your homework before you start shooting your mouth off. Lewis was nowhere near as good as Ali, Louis, Marciano, Tyson, Holmes and many more.

How about putting up some reasons why one might think that rather then just an emoticon...

I agree with you. Take even Wlad nowadays, he is actively seeks all newcomers and fights them. L.L. was too picky.

No, Lennoxs resume is good, but not the best
Ali has Liston, Frazier, Foreman, amongst others
Holyfield has Bowe, Tyson (A better version than the Lewis one), Foreman, Holmes + his CW campaign

I might get a lot of stick for this, but Lennoxs resume is on the same level as Tysons
The best names Lennox has is 2 struggles with Former CW Holyfield and an old washed up Tyson, and he cleaned out most of the mid-late nineties
Tyson has former LHW Spinks, Old man Holmes and he cleaned out the 80s
Both ruled over their eras and beat the greats before them, both lost to bums they shouldnt have. Lennox just finished his career on a high. Tyson ****ed up.

This thread is a joke, right?

Lewis did not fighting ANY of the other top 4 heavyweights of his era during their prime. Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, and Moorer.... he also dropped all three of his world titles in order to avoid fighting his #1 contenders. He didn't fight Wladimir Klitschko, who was the #1 Contender by Ring Magazine for over 2 years before his upset against Sanders. He also ran into retirement rather than take a real challenge against Vitali, after the WBC ordered that he either fight him or be stripped of his title. Yet, Lennox was trying to sue the corpse of Mike Tyson back into the ring... and was fine with that fight or Roy Jones Jr.

He beat an Old Holyfield, and a completely washed up Tyson. He was not considered a true Champ until he beat Holyfield, and his "reign" as Champ after that was extremely weak.
