Roy looks horrendous. He just looks like an out of shape old man who's convinced he still has it. Amazing to see the physical difference between when he fought Ruiz at 200lbs 8 years ago and now.
Let it go Roy. Douse that ego and go quietly into the night.

 

All Roy has left is his ego. He's going to be on the end of a brutal KO. Bet on it.

 

Dont forget that all that negative criticism also affects a person's morale and performances.

Not forgetting the dietting as well as the sparring. It all catches up with fighters.

looks bloated most likely from steroids. Jones is a joke. He is getting brutally KOed in savage and embarrassing fashion.

 

He looks old in all of the pics but damn does he look every bit of 40+ in the 2nd pic. He is in good shape for his age but is done and can't pull the trigger which he'll need badly against Lebedev. I used to think there was a very small chance of Roy winning but know judging how far he has fallen and most of his fights from 05 and over, he just looks terrible compared to his prime self. I hope he hangs them up and enjoys life without money problems as that's the only reason I see him doing this. I don't want my boy to end up like Ali.

 

People are tearing down what Lebedev does in the ring. However, TAKE A LOOK AT ROY'S LAST COUPLE FIGHTS!! He had no legs against Green and was awefull against Hopkins. Lebedev is quick enough and will catch and KO Jones. We are in 2011 not 2001.

I don't think you know what being in "shape" is.

 

For these the last several years everytime we say "well Roy can pull it off", most of the times he doesn't. Lets not forget that he couldn't pulll the trigger against Tarver in the third fight(except rd 5) and that was 05 or against Glen in 04. He looked awful against Green and Hopkins but even against a fellow 40+ fighter in Hopkins, he could not pull the trigger so what does a young fighter with ko power and aggressiveness do to him? His last win was against Lacy in 09 and even then Lacy was done also. I wish he gets paid well and retires in good health but I will root for him no matter what. Pull back the clock at least one more time Jones and retire for good despite how unlikely that is.

now look at roy jones arms the night before a fight.... looks like a regular person that does some working out's arms... not a world class athlete hunting a championship belt

 

By Roy Jones Jr standard he does look terrible. We are used to seeing him ripped, now he's looking ordinary.

But he is in his 40s and hes not on steroids. It had to happen to him someday.

I agree you can see his abs his moved up a class which is a possible 25lbs extra whch is huge

he may be far more comfortable like toney when he went cruiser bulk worked
