Had a look on their website earlier and there's no mention.....

 

Doubt anywhere in the middle of town will have it on.I think all the pubs have been priced out of stuff like this.In the early 90s Benn and Eubank,Benn and Watson would have been on in every pub.Im boring myself going on about this now but things have changed for the worse that is for sure.Im paying for it,come round here,bring your own ale and all is cool.You will have to get a bus to Dewsbury mind.

Glory Bar might show it and I know The Golf Cafe showed Haye vs Harrison on a big projector screen.

 

Shooters had Khan/Mcloskey on. Not 100% sure they have this on like, but would be surprised if they didn't.

 

I'd be surprised if Glen didn't have it on in there now you mention it.

I remember he was gonna arrange for Hatton vs Pacquiao to be shown in Silks, my mate trains at the gym and was invited to bring a couple of guests.... not sure if it ever went ahead.

A couple of girls I know were working there at the time..... would have been a laugh to see them shaking it only for us to walk in and sit in front of the big screen all night.

 

I've emailed shooters to see if they're showing it. If they're not, then it's all down to Wildcats :yep

I bet it was..... we once went there on a Christmas night out from work and to this day I'm certain that the boss went upstairs for extras.

I try and stay out of them because one of my mates is a proper perv and always gets slung out.... me and the others sometimes go to Silks because we know some of the bar staff and girls that work there (unfortunately not well enough ).

Have you been in that place that used to be DV8's?

Apparently it's an Indie Bar.... not really the right sort of place for one I wouldn't think. Could imagine a load of queers leaving Fibre calling in for one and singing Wonderwall before going to the New Penny

That place closed down. I remember it last year every monday £10 all you can drink. That place was guurrddd.

 

Decent if you're into techno and that scene. GazOC used to frequent that place. Ask him.

The bottom end of town is miles better than the top end right now, Fire is probably the best place.

The only problem with the places at the bottom is that photographers are everywhere. There was a group of us (say about 8) just talking and some knob with his Nikon wouldn't **** off. One of the girls ended up going over and telling him that he'd have his camera up his arse if he didn't do one sharpish :rofl

I remember when Bondi Beach used to do it on a Monday and Wednesday night a few years ago..... there were never any fit (genuinely fit I mean) birds in there but there was always a few decent-ish ones you could practice on.

 

Beeston what's Jakes Bar like? Never been. You're right though. Call Lane shits on anywhere else if you're happy to stay in bars. Clubs are wank anyhow.

 

Stinkies is down near the bbc yorkshire studios/bus station, quite far away from the other bars/clubs in town. Used to have a reputation for drugs. I've not been in for years so not sure what it's like now.

One of my mates once got chucked out by the bouncers. Reason "one of the bar staff has pointed you out as being the main culprit in a fight earlier in the evening" . We'd been sat at the same table all night.
