i'm gonna go out on a limb and back the underdog, groves.reckon this could be a classic, with 'ugly kid'winning in the late rounds when the ref stops the gutsy but outgunned de gale from taking any more unanswered punishment.groves in 10.

Degale points... Groves will want a war but Degale will box smart and outpoint him.

DeGale comes out they circle off. Groves snatches under the immense pressure and opens up and misses. Towards then end of the round DeGale pings him nicely and Groves is buzzed DeGale ups the ante and Groves fires back through machismo.

Bell go's to end the round.

Round 2 Groves tries to sit off in middle of ring with his poor footwork. He tries to regain presence of mind and body but DeGale smells blood and starts to come in low and Groves swings away widly and DeGale catches him with looping right hand that slumps Groves on his back he looks stiffened and shaken badly he rises. He gets up at 8 the ref allows action to go on but DeGale runs in and wades away on poor George who is stopped via TKO Round 2. You can hear his fans screaming as DeGale weighs him in and then silence and a small roar in crowd from DeGale's fans as he wins.

DeGale to end the story of George Groves tomorrow night.

Groves can really pick the shots and is smooth on his feet. Degale looks solid offensively, but he hasnt been tested. This isnt as clear cut as the bookies have it.

For example, the media whores were hyping the Degale-Smith fight like it was going to be close, but it never was. Degale is in a different league.

Degale and Groves are in the same league, but Degale seems to hold an edge over most areas. I think Groves is capable of outboxing Degale and is actually a value bet to take it on points. I have been a fan (of his ability) of Degale for a while and I think he really can be something special, if he handles Groves convincingly tomorrow night, then it will be a breakthrough moment.

It is an intriguing fight, but the rest of the card is a joke.

Still, I am going to go with the underdog. Groves on points.
