Yes £15 is a complete rip off for a one good fight. As much as I hate paying it I regularly spend/waste £70-£100 on a Saturday night just getting pissed.

In the grand scheme of things, as a huge boxing fan I have no problem paying £15 such is my interest in this fight. The first one I have not shelled money out on was Khan's last fight. Him pulling out of Sky Sports exposure to make a few extra quid on bloody primetime really pissed me off so I put my foot down on that one, on sheer principle.

That doesn't make sense though. This card is the same kind of level as Khan/McCloskey, the only reason it hasn't been pulled from Sky Box Office is because it's Frank Warren and sky themselves have been hyping DeGale/Groves for a long time. They couldn't just let it disappear so Fwank has them at ransom in a way. If Sky pulled it, Frank would probably have gone to another pay per view himself.

£15 for a British title fight is a joke and fight cards will never improve if people are happy to buy this. Just my take of course.

The whole thing comes down to perception, PPV would not exist if people didnt actually buy it....but they do hence why PPV are around for the last 20 yrs.

Il watch the fight later on for free...but thats me...its not a huge fight for me so il take my time and come round to watching it.

The only fights id buy are Pacman - Mayweather and haye klit....but im going to heavy bout in germany as it is....

What the **** do you want exactly, they don't put cards together and you moan, they put a card together and moan. Have issue with the price?, then don't buy it, but at the same time don't expect fights like Degale Groves to happen, as the only way to finance the purse for this fight was for it to be PPV. So shut the **** up.

dont complain about the cost of the fight if you are going to buy it as you are just facilitating this type of thing by buying the fight

What a load of rubbish. They haven't put a card together. That's the point. 1 competitive fight in DeGale/Groves (and a lot of people don't even think that'll be competitive).

For £15 you'll get a Billy-Joe Saunders warm up. A Frankie Gavin warm up. A Nathan Cleverly warm up. And DeGale/Groves.

That's a terrible card and is even worse than Khan-Salita. At least that had Mitchell/Prescott and Simpson/Bell as a competitive undercard.

If you read the rest of my post you'll see I justify it. I can complain all I want, I complain about my mortgage payments but I still pay them.

Indeed thats' your take. Out of personal interest to me Degale vs Groves alone is ahead of Khan/McCloskey. I see it as a true 50/50 fight, could go either way, this is why I rate it ahead of the Khan fight. Again this is a personal opinion.

I by no means am suggesting that this card is worth £15, but I will pay for it simply because of my interest in the main even.

I'm not sure I can take you serious having that kind of username

But yeah that's fair enough though. I can see why people would buy this pay per view for DeGale v Groves alone.

you have to pay your mortgage or you will be out of your abode.

you don't have to pay for the fight.

yet you still complain about paying for it but still pay for it. you dont realise that by paying for it you are just furthering this type of thing happening.

i dont expect you to understand that though.

I have to pay for the fight as I'm a huge boxing fan and am very excited about Degale vs Groves.

I don't expect you to understand though.
