Khan offers bradley straight 50/50

    On the espn website.

    In a round of negotiations eerily reminiscent of wlad-haye it seems khan and bradley are now closer to making a deal.

    Khan initially wanted to keep the british ppv money and split the rest with bradley maintaining it would still give him a career high payday. Bradley refused.

    Schaefer wanted to speak to other opponents but apparently khan is desperate for this fight so authorised a 50\50 split.

    Could bradley have any good reason to turn down the latest offer? Like wlad he is the perceived best in his division and like wlad he isn't as big a draw as his english opponent. Hopefully like wlad he'll do right by the fans and take the fight!

    I'd call it a duck unless he can secure a higher profile fight against ortiz or floyd.

    why doesnt bradley make this but the contract includes that he will leave shaw and do it with another promotional company? it seems that the contract extension is holding bradley back,or bradley should wait out and face maidana then khan could face off with judah or guerrero and the two of them can fight in december.

    I find Khan's enthusiasm and Bradley's reluctance quite strange, as for me this is a fight which Bradley wins every time. Stylistically, he's all wrong for Amir IMO.

    khan can beat him on the outside, bradley is shorter and doesnt have power to shake khan, I can see bradley winning this fight on the inside, but it would have to be perfect, khan wants to unify quickly because he wants to move up to welter thats why he is pushing it.

    That's right.

    He doesn't want to hang around light welter for very long. Not too sure why, maybe he's starting to have to work too hard to stay at 140? His frame and height are all wrong to stay at 140.

    Anything after this was too much. Bradley might have more skill than Maidana but has less power. What he had was enough to take care of Alexander but it won't be enough against Kahn. My opinion anyhow.

    I think it's a close 50/50 with brad being a slight favourite.

    It's winnable for both camps both are in their prime so there isn't any acceptable reason that they can't get it on.

    Khan would probably win against him ;) He got freddie roach, and think Khans weekness is in brawlers and hard hitters like Maidana, and not against Bradley. 60/40 in Khans favor

    I also favor Bradley in this fight. I think his reluctance is a product of wanting to get out of the contract with Shaw at all costs and/or Bradley's belief that he's next in line for Pacquiao.
