    One of them was !
Ok, that's 1 southpaw to Wlad, but 0-1 against him.
And he beat Byrd twice, and Ibragimov. So that's 3 opponents, 3-1 tally.
    Any more ?

    Plus Thompson so 4-1.

To my knowledge Tyson and Lewis never fought a southpaw. At least none of any note.

Southpaws are an emerging trend in boxing..not really sure if its a good thing or not but I think it benefits some fighters being southpaw in the modern era because of the simple fact that most guys today aren't super adaptable and don't have multifaceted skillsets.

Cody Koch was another one for Wlad. And the rarest of them all--a southpaw slugger.

Frazier, none I can think of.

    Ali fought Mildenberger.

Holmes fought Wells 2x as an amateur.

In the old days a southpaw was forced to box orthodox, so yes they were very rare. There is the logic that it opens up the liver shot but many old time trainers couldn't really train lefties too well beause they didn't know the tricks themselves

For the record in terms of fighters who could box well out of both stances, I can only think of Hagler and Andre Ward, any others?? Tyson went southpaw when he was going for the kill and it suited his positioning and Cotto switched when going for the kill, not really boxing southy though. Junior Witter switched allot but wasn't that good. People cite Mayweather but he can't box southpaw well, Jones Jr could be didn't much

Yep, he has > a few I just couldn't recall them off the top of my head.

I do not believe Smokin Joe ever fought one, nor Holmes as a pro. But it wasn't as if there were many around to fight during their timeframes either.

We would probably add all of them collectively and may not match the number Klitschko has. Funny thing is that he is given minimal credit for it.

Evander has fought a fair amount but he is a guy that has not done well against them. Moorer/Byrd/Iggy come to mind and I think there was possibly another during his cruiser run.
