    I advocated Kevin Hammond after BJS's last fight. On paper it was a very good fight, when you saw Hammond walk through a lot of Concepcion's punching and make it a competitive fight. The class difference was massive though, he's probably ready for a title shot.

    What do you know of former champ Young Mutley? He's from your neck of the woods?
    I know he's a former champ like you said, but he never got to defend because, well, he lost. Good enough but his time is behind him.

    Do you respect his power?
    Eh, I respect him as a fighter. I've never felt his power to respect it. I expect to win.

    It's rare the interviewer comes off as a bigger tit than the boxer (unless Jim Gray is involved). :yep

    Another kid who is the real deal here. Frankie Gavin is a tremendous fighter already. A world class fighter. This won't be a contest.

    Probably, going to see the Paul Smith fight to fill in some time after the Gavin, which will probably end quickly as well.
