To beat Clarke isnt anything special but to stop him is,Im telling you guys this lad hits very hard. If he stops Robbie Long that would be even better.

Nice to hear spike winning, Think its the "wrong" result though, after a year out, i think he could of done with the rounds under the belt especially walking into a very tough fight with Robbie Long over 10 rounds, Nice to see Frankie Gavin been very proud of his Irish Title, had it at ringside with him......
I had Groves got 11/4 before the fight. Always thought he would get the win. It was close but I had him winning by 1 round. Frankie Gavin looked good tonight I wish they would of told the commentary team that Frankie is Irish champion. Also great to see him with the belt at ringside. He used to have a little tricolor on his shorts but by the looks of it today it wasnt on it anymore. I wonder if Warren will do a show over here with Frankie and the rest of his Irish fighters on it in Dublin or Belfast.
that fitz is an awful langer aint he. Fair play to Groves, I had degale backed pretty big and I scored it a draw but if pushed for a winner id pick Groves. Would still pick Degale in a rematch though. Gavin had a bad night at the office but its good when you can have a bad night and still win every round. Im well excited for Fury and Chisora now too. Hope someone gets a clip of it tonight on youtube
Nobody denys that he hits hard. But i said before, and will say again, that i think it is a complete over-exaggeration to say he hits as hard as any Irish fighter p4p!! (maybe in the long run it will be proven that he does, but i can't see how you came to that conclusion thus far) I know Clarke is one of these tough journeymen and all that, but I don't think you can base much on this fight. Journeymen who go many rounds are also open to the odd quick knockout. Clarke may have only been knocked out once before tonight, but i'm sure there are plenty more in store!! On a positive and possibly hypocritical note, fair play to Spike, flying the rebel flag for cork once again :happy
By the way Mush and Tommy (and Spike). Whatever happend to the Rebel County? This content is protected And you have the cheek to call us jackeens? Lining the ****ing streets for the Saxe-Coburg **** is a bit much isn't it? At least we made them line the streets with the FreeState oppression force up here. Way to roll over and take it up the arse ye might Rebels! :deal
