Why? I had DeGale winning the fight and it was close enough for warrant a rematch. Why should they say no? I don't get it.

Shudnt be a rematch staright away atleast cos if DeGale wins then it would result in another fight again afterwards which would be pointless. Leave it a couple of years and then let them scrap again.

It should be rematched end of story really.

I can understand why Haye and Booth might not wish it to be, but for any boxing fan I've no idea why they would argue otherwise.

It was a very close match, sure Degale can be perhaps be seen as unsavory, but the fight certainly deserves a rematch.

Having said that, fair play, seems to hold little time in boxing nowadays, which I can understand between the promoters, but I've no idea why fans of boxing would applaud something not happening that fairly should happen.

Rematch would be good for both.

Both Groves and DeGale can learn a lot from competing against each other.

Who cares if they lose to each other?

If they don't improve they will never beat Andre Ward.

Plus, DeGale-Groves II will make money for them.

They can fight again later in their careers. Now they should both go back to gym and improve. Groves disd well,

Well look at it from this angle, if DeGale had got the decision would Warren have given the green light for a rematch? no ****ing chance is the answer.

There's little doubt these guys will meet again but I hope for everyone involved (including us fans) it's not for another 2-3 years yet.

Yeah well said :thumbsup I hope they both leave the next 1 for a few years, Degale looked more dangerous in their though, so there could be a different result every time they fight. :bbb

I highly doubt Frank Warren will be all out for a rematch once he sits down and thinks about it. Imagine they rematch and Groves wins again? DeGale might as well call it a day there mentally

I love it that Groves won.... LOVE IT!

A re-match in few years time would be better, think how big it will be; close fight/ disputed decision, lets finally settle the score.

But I still think Degale will go onto to achieve more though.

Dude, DeGale gave the fight away. It was obvious. Groves was just about hanging on in round 11. I had him losing even against a poor DeGale. He'd be up **** street in a rematch. You know it.

It was a very close fight and they proved they are evenly matched.Cant see a point in an return straight away,it would just be more of the same. Both guys have it in them to achieve more.It will be like Benn v Eubank if both go on to win at world level then get a rematch sorted out.Id leave it for now if I were De Gale,he did not lose big time and there is bigger money in a rematch maybe 5 or 6 fights down the line.

    we've had the 1st fight.

why not let them peak and hopefully fight again for unification of a world title or something later down the road, build it up and give them a mutli million pay day?
