Did anyone else see McDonell get out his phone show it to degale and told him to sshhh as degale looked like he had received comfirmation of a win. Due to the actual result of the fight its more likely that his mate sent him jim watts score card rather than any actual corruption but its quite strange considering both parties reactions
I was wondering if there was a bit of home promoter cooking going on, which made it even more of a shock when the decision was announced!
Yeah, i rewinded this a couple of times. He definatley said something like, "you've won it 115" - he then put his finger over his mouth and said "shhhh" You might be right, maybe someone sent him Watts score card. Its the way mcdonell was telling him to quiet down when degale started celebrating as if he'd recieved some inside information that he was definitely getting the w end of the day it just adds to the comedy of errors made by the degale camp

The Degale camp error was thinking he could punch like Kenny Anderson. The most basic of mistakes, & no wonder Warren said heads will roll for Degales defeat. I told ESB ages ago that Degale was foolish for thinking that just cos Kenny Anderson outpowered Groves that he would too, & that was the downfall!!! If only the trainers listened to the more enlightened fans here, they could learn something. Pride comes before a fall though, so no wonder McDonell/Peggy Mitchell's tactics stunk.
Yeah, I noticed the exact same thing. I was thinking it was about the bet and to just stay quiet about it or something. McDonnell needs to go, sharpish, and DeGale needs to get with a damn good trainer. Roach/Nazim maybe?
Im shocked that a Warren fighther lost a MD on a Warren card. I keep expecting to log onto ESB and find out there was an "error" in the scoring. Jim McDonnel will definatley get sacked for this which is awsome because he is a ****!
Personally i'd go to Joel Diaz/Robert Garcia if going Stateside. Them guys would give him more time. Naazim doesn't work mits and i think is better tactician. James seems to need a fair bit of work on technique and ring iq.
If it was up to you. You would ruin him the same way Steward did with Naseem. I think he has the ability to work with a Mayweather.
