No idea not seen the fight only the KO vid..but I wonder if he goes for the rematch on the basis that he was (apparently) winning easily up until that KO came. Maybe he'll say "rematch then retire" so he can go out on a win? But of course the writings been on the wall a few yrs already - Jones is SHOT.
What fight were you watching? He gave a decent account of himself but was around 6 rounds to 3 down before the stoppage. Lebedev didn't look great, and a prime Roy would've embarrassed him but he should've hung them up a few years ago. It's at the stage where he's putting his long-term at health at risk.
i had lebedev up by 1 round at least. no way rjj should be ahead imho, it was close though. However Khryunov said in the post fight interview by rnd 9 one judge had lebedev leading, another Jones, the third had a draw!
