    Look at this wizard. Fighting younger champions and they can hardly land 60 punches. He went a decade plus w/o ever being hurt.

    I just think he is one of the greatest fighters ever, defensively, ring smarts, everything...Floyd is a great fighter, but Bernard is a legend.

    Hopkins defensive skills are PURELY based on technique though which is shown at old age.
    A large part of Floyds defensive skill comes from his athleticism not just his technique.

    To me Hopkins is greater defense wise, but Floyd could prove me wrong if he fights at older age.

    Come on. Don't infect our forum with this ignorance. You can argue Bernard is greater than Floyd, but Floyd's defense is clearly better

    BHOP 46 fighting young champs. Floyd was spaghetti legged caught sleeping by a totally shot out of the ring 1 year and 6 mos. Shame.

    Let's see how Floyd in his next fight against a decent opponent....
    I would say let's see how Floyd looks at 46, but no way he'd fight til then...Not to be horrible, but with his current lifestyle who knows if he'll be alive then.

    :patsch Floyd defensive skill come from years of practice to say his defensive skill come from athleticism is just plane nuts. Floyd has fought bigger, stronger and faster fighter then himself and his defensive skill and his ability to adjust has alway been the turning factor.
