Hey, if Money May's dad calls him a white pimp, he a pimp. Gotta give it up. He's earned it.

Well, it's true that Calzaghe's resume looks much better since this win proves that Hopkins is dangerous even when he's old.

And he beat a LHW champ people tout as world class after all at a very advanced age.

Because if they downplay Pascal, that would downplay Froch's own accomplishments.

And if Froch is considered crap, Ward would have a win over a nobody when the Super Six finishes. Not minding the fact that damaged Kessler already beat Froch.

You can't have it both ways, Yanks.

If you're going to proclaim BHOP as someone awesome for beating Pascal, you gotta give rep that Calzaghe pulled one out against Hopkins years ago.

Sad thing is, they still slag on Calzaghe even now. I mean, I respect Hopkins for his ability. Seems like a lot of Yanks don't give the same respect back.

Beating an undefeated fighter is different than defeating a once-beaten fighter. We both know that.

It's the same reason Pascal gets more credit for defeating Diaconu than does Dawson: The blueprint was already there, and the former-unbeaten's aura is already shattered.

You know who's stock really goes up? Jermain Taylor. He beat Hopkins years before Calzaghe and even did it at Middleweight - TWICE! Plus, like Calzaghe, they were totally clear decisions.

There is a rumour that a certain judge scores in favour of black fighters...she was the only judge who saw Hopkins winning...

You forgot to tell him that Kessler was layed off and damaged.

Then Bika made Ward look worse than he did Calzaghe.

These fights happened years after Calzaghe fought either men.

    Whoomp -- there it is.

Tell the truth, fellow Yanks. Tell the truth. You don't have to like Calslappy, but you have to give the Welch devil his due here.

Hopkins showed he was far, far from finished when he fought Calzaghe. This wasn't Roy Jones-Calzaghe we're talking about. Hopkins embarrassed the middleweight king and took down the light heavyweight kingpin after Joe put it on Hopkins.

There's no way around it now, especially with Hopkins' new stature in the sport.

    Taylor fought Hopkins at Middleweight.

Calzaghe fought Hopkins at Light Heavyweight.

    There's a difference there.

Calzaghe fought Jones after Hopkins...Don't think Hopkins sent Calzaghe in to retirement with that **** poor effort from BHop. He looked great tonight no doubt...he looked HORRIBLE against Calzaghe. Niether of them looked good honestly, but Calzaghe clearly outworked him.

I'm just keeping it simple. But good points!

Joe's one of the best I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of guys.

Compare Hopkins legacy to Calslaps. B Hop is a legend, Calslaps wont be remembered in 10 years and the only ones who care about him are you silly Brit ninnies because you dont have any legends of your own. :good
