Go check my post history on hopkins , instead of just talking ****. I've barely ever said anything bad about him. I have huge respect for him , and I'm a fan of him. I just don't think this victory is all that special. Pascal is a ****ing horrible fighter. If Hopkins would gone after Chad Dawson instead of waiting around and cherry picking a guy he knew he could easily outbox , it would have been more special. Sorry just being real.
Go to hell, *******. Hopkins broke a record that likely wont be broken again. He is one of the p4p, and is the 175lb champ at 46, against a guy, who is young, strong, and was the legit champ. **** YOU!!!:deal
The things against hopkins in this fight were staggering; a 28 year old opponent, in his prime, fighting in his back yard, **** refereeing, coming in as the opponent, getting rocked 2 times, being 48 years old and literally fighting for history. I have no idea how people can say this performance was not special:huh:-(
He broke a record, and props to him , but he did it against a guy who can't box worth a damn, and Hopkins KNEW that.... that's why he fought him. Hopkins has a history of carefully picking his opponents. It would have been more impressive if he did that to a really good fighter, which Pascal isnt. What the fight proved to me is that Hopkins even at his age is incredibily skilled, and a guy like Pacal who doesn't know how to box can't beat him. Hopkins schooled Pascal in the first fight too, why weren't people going ape**** over that performance? It's just that now hes' gotten the offical decision, and he's broken a record, all of a sudden he's GOAT .. It's an amazing accomplishment, and if you check my history I've said Hopkns is one of the most skilled ,crafty fighters ever. Just put the **** in the proper perspective.
Great performance but based on their first fight, Hopkins had to be favored to win and he did. Pascal is shorter and only slightly more refined than Abraham.
