If he is gong to change make a proper change and go out to the states. The money is there so hire a good American trainer with a well established set up and get out of the UK for a few years.

There is a good chance that will happen.... DeGale should have shaken Groves's hand at the end, and should have come out and given an interview. Im guessing he will want to get as far away from England as possible...

Unless he goes all Ali (after his loss to Fraizer) on us by claiming he won the fight & continues to rubbish Groves

He did look really pissed off at the end, everyone knew it was close and I can understand him being pissed off that he did not get it but he really looked like he had let the crowd get to him when he left.I was a bit pissed off for him to be honest,he is a good fighter and he deserved a bit better than the booing. He most like will leave these shores and try his luck in the US.

Degale could get a top trainer in the us and could also afford it. He'd also get top class sparring, with all types of fighters, not just cleverly types who are looking to trade. It would add an extra dimension to his skill set. Although not sure which coach would best suit degales style and personality.

Roach seems to be better with volume attacking fighters and his best fighters khan/pacman lack defensive skills. Basin Richardson is less proven but is known to be a great tactician. Flloyd snr is one of the best defensive coaches when his mind is in it and it's not egotistical poetry crap. Also doesn't seem to have a stable fighter unlike roach. Then you got manny steward who could be the right man. There's plenty of others but it's going to be hard for degale to move out there, I don't think his personality is up for it.

Khan had to do it as he was completely embarrassed and exposed after Prescott and the defeat gave him a different outlook. Degale lost a razor close majority decision, which might nit be enough to pursued him of such a radical change.

Stop polluting threads with the same garbage.

Groves won a close decision. It would have been even more decisive if DeGale had been deducted points for using the shoulder and the elbow.

Groves won, had the better tactics and DeGale ran out of ideas. Deal with it!

He didn't deserve better than the booing. The guy's got no class, no grace in either victory or defeat. Booing was exactly what he deserved.

This, to me, shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what Groves/Booth did. Just like Nelson showed a fundamental lack of understanding of what happened when he said 'George groves fought out of his skin against the worst of James DeGale and only won by a point on 2 cards'

Fighting with this plan meant that Groves was never going to run away with the fight, especially against someone of DeGales calibre. He was just nicking rounds with the cleaner, more effective work whilst not getting hit. DeGale was made to look poor for the long periods that Groves stuck to the strategy and by the time Groves had tired and was letting it slip it was too late.

So Frank is going to contact the BBBC to order a rematch, very much sour grapes going on here, Frank was quoted as saying "I haven't found one person who thought George won that fight and I'm sure he's got a lot of pride and he wouldn't want it to be like that. I'm sure he wants his victory to be an emphatic one." Bit of emotional blackmail there, but if the board look at the fight Frank be sure to point out Degales headbutts and of course the intentional use of the elbow that the ref missed which all tv viewers got see which should have been a point deduction. As for the part of 'not finding one person who thought Groves won' Well asking outside of the Degale camp might be a good start.

dont believe the hype!!! we all, well most got sucked in. Boxing isnt just about fighting and Groves prooved that at distance and off the back foot, and very busy. Im no big boxing brain but Im like everyone else in thinking why didnt I have a little £20 on him

Its called bar karma, everyone around Degale was negative...including the trainer...look at how Booth was....observant and cool.
