    Are there seriously still people on this forum who think long-time WBO smw champion Joe Calzaghe is even anywhere near the same level of greatness as ATG Bernard Hopkins?

    Seriously?? :nono


    Not only did a well past-prime Hopkins with clear stamina issues make Joe look amateurish and inaccurate when they fought, he has surpassed him in every other conceivable way throughout his glittering career.

    If Hopkins had spent more time fighting that making silly faces, play-acting low blows and generally jerking around maybe he'd have beaten Calzaghe.

    He didn't, he made his choices, he got firmly outworked and deserved to lose that fight.

    p4p ATG though, yeah, I have no problem putting Hopkins higher.
