Kenny certainly deserves it I think

 

Yeah I'd like this fight but I've got a feeling Fwank's gonna try and get Groves to vacate the British title.

Maybe Brian Magee for the European?

I'd like to see Groves vs Anderson again, definitely.

Warren was talking big about getting the board to order a rematch.... but I can't see it happening for a while. I expect him to get DeGale someone really crap for his next fight, which will probably be on the Mitchell/Murray card.

If it's not Anderson, I don't really see who it can be. Smith is moving down to middle, maybe someone like Quigley?

 

Shows how good Kenny is really. He'll beat Groves in the rematch i'd put my house on it.

 

Its an easy sell, the first was war and that was at short notice.

Yep, first fight was a great back-and-forth battle, you've got to wonder whether Kenny could've absorbed those body shots better with better prep.

I'd say Groves outmanouvers him this time and forces a latter stoppage. I've got to say, either he was worried to sit down on his punches, didn't manage to land anything good, or Degales has real nerve, but Groves didn't seem to land anything sufficient last night. Didn't seem to worry Degale at any point with his shots, though Degale just plodded forward throughout.

 

No. Anderson needs to get a good win under his belt and then they can make the fight. Reason being is Groves is looking past domestic dust ups so he needs to keep progressing unless Anderson can make himself relevant in his next bout.

 

Degale v Anderson would be a good fight. Both to have a warm up fight then fight each other and the winner of that to fight Groves. The way it is now Groves can say he is now looking for bigger and better fights after beating the 2 main rivals in this division. Maybe Groves goes looking for the European title fight next. He must of jumped up the rankings in all of the World rankings as well.

 

Anderson does deserve a rematch but if your Adam Booth and Hayemaker, you would certainly want to capitalise on this win by moving up in terms of competition. They have shown that they aren't afraid to throw Groves into the deep end (Samuels, Anderson, Degale etc) so I wouldn't be surprised if his next fight was a very big one.

He could go down the European route as someone has mentioned earlier or potentially move to world level with an eliminator or even fight someone like Sartison or Stieglitz. If Degales name was being mentioned with them, I see no reason why Groves' shouldnt.

Personally, I'd like to see him take on Brian Magee. A world rated, experienced operator who would be an excellent follow up test. It's certainly not a fight that he would definatively win but I feel that's what he needs now; there's no point in dropping down in level from now for easy wins. I like the way Hayemaker have handled him so far and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he kept on being pushed fight after fight which is great to see
