Man i don't think I have seen a more violent ko of a former p4p king... His head was all over the place after he was out cold... Roy already had slurred speech and balance issues before this fight.. I mean I can only imagine the effects of this on his body and man... No one should allow him to box or even sparr agian ... It's a black eye for boxing .... I loved roy man all the way from the amatures just sad...
Yeah, no doubt. Gut-wrenching stuff, seeing a legend out that way. We can only hope he finally stops boxing now, before he literally dies in the ring.
Roy takes 500k to get his head knocked around like it was a baseball. He's a freaking fool. Is he so desperate for cash? What is wrong with this guy? I read somewhere he was owing the IRS money but this is just horrible. Heck the IRS should contact him and work out some payment plan, he's just going to kill himself this way.
Roy you are a ****ing moron. I cant believe the boxing commision keeps letting him fight. This is sad. This is everything that is wrong with boxing in a nutshell.
Roy has evolved from a boxing atg to the ultimate example for when to retire on time or else... He needs a intervention.
I'm just glad he got back up ..**** hopefully no one ever sanctions him to fight again ever any where !
This is wrong, no true fight fan can watch this fight without feeling uncomfortable. He is not doing this for ambition, it is purely financial and painful to watch. Roy, please stop now.
Even more upsetting seeing his wife in distress. Roy is not only hurting his body, but his family too.
When they were using smelling salts on him he literally looked like he wasn't going to wake up. Dude is going to die if he doesn't stop.
Boxing is a hurt business. Jones is no more important than any other fighter that kept fighting. It is Boxing not ice skating or badminton Jones knows what he is signing up for. It is the nature of the beast. Jones is no different than what happened to Joe Louis, Meldrick Taylor, or any other fighter that kept on fighting when they shouldn't. Spare me the "poor Roy" bull ****.
This. It's actually scary watching Jones fight these guys now. You really do get the feeling something tragic could happen.
