Ward would win. He is a younger version of Hopkins.

ward wins this going away. hopkins is able to compete because of the competition he has. ward has to many tools for a 46 yr old. tarver, pascal, pavlik and calzaghe are all good but not great. that's why hopkins can still compete at his advanced age.

Hopkins wins in a close and exciting fight but foul-filled bout.

Ward, is faster and younger and they both know the dirty tricks. Andre ward by UD, or by dq.

Why not have it at 175 then? Besides that would either be the greatest thing to watch or the most horrifying. Nut shots, head butts, elbows and both guys can make you look horrid. It would be the ugliest fight ever.

Ward wins and it isn't even close. Hopkins is too old, Ward is too mentally game, also just as "crafty", can work on the inside and out, is faster and just as technically sound.

    Ward is Hopkins 2.0

Ward is exactly the type of fighter who might make Hopkins quite on his stool. He has the skills but i think even more importantly, the intelligence and the heart of a champion to capitalize on opportunities and make Hopkins fight an uncomfortable fight.

Ward wins without a doubt IMO.

Ward beats B-Hop. I don't see Ward being as clueless on the inside as Pascal and he sure as hell won't let Hopkins land that lead right at will like Pascal did.

Hopkins has proven over they last 17 years he cannot be clearly defeated. He's beaten better guys than ward before and ward has fought nowhere the level of hopkins.

I think the only thing beating hopkins today is wild power. Hopkins fights ward to a close 12 round fight. As for who wins... Well it's hard to say. Ward has looked dominant lately and has youth on his side. But right now I wouldn't ever pick against nard.

While there are similarities between the two, he's not in the same league as Hopkins used to be when talking about skills and craft. Hopkins was much better.

Ward wins more easily than Calzaghe or Taylor. I don't think this would be a fun fight to watch either.
