Adam Booth is P4P the best trainer in Britain

I'm getting pretty bored with people calling Booth "weird, "gay" or a "dark lord".

In any other business from accounting to plastering people are judged on performance alone, if your delivering who gives a **** about your "aura". yet Booth is constantly riddiculed and denied the props he deserves on these boards, why? because he's not some salt of the earth, northern working class hero like Billy Graham?

Booth is the best trainer in Britain his record speaks for itself, since Haye lost to Carl Thompson (a learning curve for both boxer and trainer) he has gone 7 years and 28 fights undefeated, He has won world titles in two weight classes and upset the odds winning crucial bouts in France and Germany (Pretty impressive) and had winning "oppenent" fighters on two frank warren cards (Even more impressive).

What other trainer in britain has a better record in big 50/50 fights?

His methods maybe unsual and before last night people could have argued that he is just lucky to have stumbled across an exceptional talent like haye but now credit where its due the man is the best we have!

He has a decent winning streak.

But Enzo Calzaghe had a far longer streak with Joe Calzaghe and all that.

So to say Boooth is the best trainer in Britain is not a given - but he is up there.

the guy though has a really weird energy about him - and that comes across so much more powerfully than any boxing statistics he might have as a trainer.

 

I'm with you on that 100%. Top trainer always has been IMO. He's just misunderstood.

Anyway, still like calling him the Dark Lord though and... the hand of Booth has now entered boxing folklore.

Reckon he'll unleash it on Bernd Boente next.

He posted on here not so long ago. Would be funny if he brought the name up in an interview.

 

I think at the time when Enzo Calzaghe had 3 world champions at the same time he was also the best trainer in Britian, however in all unraveled pretty quickly for the angry little italian. Think he lost his love for the sport once Joe Sailed of into the sunset and that bitter split with frank didn't help him.

However Personally I thought Enzo was a hatefull, classless bloke and a far big bellend than booth could ever be I but shouldn't let that get in the way of giving him full credit for working mirricles at that little gym in the valleys!

 

What you saying - he is so peverse - he revels in people referring to him as some type of weirdo.

If he ever browses this Brit Forum - he is going to find the reference to him hard to miss.

 

Booth is an exceptional trainer and quite possibly the best we have in Britian ATM. He's done wonders for Haye, and most recently the win for Groves is another decent accomplishment (the game-plan was spot on). I know Booth isn't taken to seriously around ESB (dark lord and all that) but you have to give him credit.

Could we be seeing another upset in Haye - Wlad? Booth knows his stuff so who knows..
