What I find amusing is when Degale said to George on Ringside 'Don't run George, fight, let's fight'. I think Degale knew George could outbox him, hense the 'come fight me' stuff. Degale didn't expect George to fight like that, he was thrown off and bought into the fight wasn't going to last long rubbish.

 

Props to adam booth for calling him a wanker, that's exactly what he is. None of them are seeing it for what it is. They underestimated groves, didn't respect him, and had no answers. Even after the fight their answer is "I thought James won." Even with hindsight Jim Mcdonell can't work out what James could've done to win other than throw a bit more. Even when Degale did step it up a bit and apply some pressure barely anything landed, they were just flurries that looked impressive, and Groves was out of there. He couldn't keep him pinned for long.

If george was that **** and Degale is that good there would be no "thought" about it, they're a bunch of clowns.

It does make me wonder if Degale can actually beat Groves in a boxing match, the way he's talking after the fight suggests he doesn't think he can, saying stuff like he was running as if it was against the rules to box on the back foot.
