I didn't think the The Dark Lord thing was insulting, it's meant affectionately. His results have spoken for themselves.

It's just how **** sure he is, his disdain of the media, his overall arrogance and expressions. He is fascinating to watch. Some uni should study him.

Booth is the master when it comes to strategy & game plan but when it comes to developing a fighter from a technical standpoint I'm not too sure. I think Haye having come as far as he has is mainly down to his natural abilities (hand speed, power etc). Groves doesn't seem to have improved much technically in the last couple of years - his victory last night was a combination of excellent game plan and more importantly Degale's underestimation of him!

If Mcdonnel had worn a red t shirt DeGale would've thrown more punches and won the fight. It's the little things.

He must be an outstanding trainer given the results he's had and the fact that Haye has stuck by him. I don't understand what people find unsual or uneasy about him either, he seems perfectly normal to me, just younger and seems more educated than most of the other trainers in Britain.

Can anyone give me a low down on his background?

The dark lord is master of his own destiny. He Knows. It is deep within him. He does not care if you call him names, He is focused and in control. This guy is operating at a higher level to most people, He has worked for years to become an overnight success. Was he born with success? No. He is a grafter, a worker, an intelligent man who wanted more.

Why can't I have more? I will have more. I want more and I will get more, he said. Adam Booth is a beacon of positive energy, miserable scumbags who misunderstand him and are afraid of his power mock him. He is intelligent and always sees the bigger picture. There is no such thing as natural talent, there is a growth mindset. Adam Booth has a powerful growth mindset an surrounds himself with others who have the same trait. People like McDonnell have their way and think everyone should follow it. Booth has looked at their way and said: "hang on, their can be another way. There is always another way."

He sets a strategy and he works to it. If he decides a goal, it WILL be achieved. We never know what is on the path when we take it but we know it will lead to our destination. He focuses on the end goal. There may be bumps along the way: setanta collapsing, carl thompson, kenny anderson but a clear mind and focus takes care of all that. A positive mindset can achieve all things, as long as the focus is always on the goal. He banishes all negative energies to achieve his goals.

I think he is ****ing excellent. I too would be smug if I was as powerful, almighty and all knowing as Adam Booth is.

In summary, Adam Booth is The Truth.

In all seriousness, I'm not a massive lover of the way Booth sets guys out to fight at times. I don't dig Haye's recent style, or what Groves did last night particularly. It seems to be working in these fights so I'm not faulting it, but its not my preference by any means.

But, I respect him as a trainer. He's clearly a very good trainer. In all seriousness, he does seem to impose his confidence and mindset on his fighters. PK actually said something on point when he was talking about how the best managers/trainers personality reflects on whoever they're associated with and Booth seems to do that. I mean Haye and Groves are more or less Adam Booth, somehow. It's quite weird. But to get that close to a fighter and the calmness he exudes in the corner, its a positive driving force.

Well its shrouded in mystery...but i can give you a little info

He's been involved with boxing for years, used to work with Danny Williams, Gary Logan, possibly Anthony Small IIRC as well? He studied Anatomy and Physiology as well as Injury Rehabilitation. He also ran a leading sports clinic for three years and went on to eventually lecture in Anatomy and Physiology for Premier Training International for 5 years. Adam also implemented and masterminded the development and high standard of training at the leading health and fitness gym, The Third Space, London - so that part of his career is where idiots call him simply "a fitness trainer".

He has worked with a variety of clients – from boxers, football and rugby players, and athletes to actors and singers – he also acted as Health Consultant for Kylie Minogue and that'll be where the rumours of Haye pumping her came from no doubt.

Interesting. Obviously a very clever guy then. I read an article last night saying that he boxed amateur and had 40 fights, winning most but broke his leg, shattering his plans to go pro.

He obviously made a lot of money out of working with those clients you mention then and this is maybe indicative of why he trains so few fighters. I'd like to see more of him holding the pads ect.

    Thanks for the info :good
