    Degale is very stupid fighter and person. He has got skills but he needs guidance from a top trainer. Not some delusional has-been backslapper.

    I'm sure warren will change things in degale camp behind close doors

    Absolutely love it. I'm a teacher of teenagers and the behaviour of JdG is almost a carbon copy of the way the worst of them behave in defeat. Quite shocking really.

    Love GG humility, recognition of weaknesses, repect for JdG etc. He has real class. I hope he really goes far. You never know in a few years or so he could face Froch/Ward/Bute etc.

    Where does JdG go now? I don't really care tbh.

    Agree with you 100%, which is kind of ironic since Mcdonnell always goes on about being a "proper fighter" as if it actually makes him a far superior trainer.

    Eventhough he can be a bit of a tool I think this shows Booth is worth his salt as a trainer, got that tactically spot on and Groves showed he can adapt his style depending on the opponent.

    My favourite quote from the night was "No disrespect to James DeGale, I've trash talked him far too much and he's a tremendous fighter", shows the class of the man while DeGale bleats.

    Like those who say they were there for the fall of the Berlin wall, I was there for the deflation of the worlds biggest ego, a victory for humility.

    Its bad enough that DeGale has clearly learned nothing from this fight, but it's even more worrying that McDonnell and Warren aren't prepared to face reality and concede he was beaten by the cleverer fighter.

    As was mentioned earlier, Groves talked a lot about improvement and learning in his presser and he was the winner. DeGale didn't mention it once. Neither did McDonnell and that doesnt look good for JDG's future.

    If he takes every loss as a robbery he can expect plenty more.

    That was a really good press conference from George Groves...:good

    He did what he had to do and got his win, he fought his own fight to take away the best of what James Degale had to offer...:yep

    I didn't think he would win, I am pleased for him as he is now walking tall and really took some serious **** from Degale in the lead up to this fight...:yep
