Hopkins vs Dawson is next and both have stated it. I was listening to the commentary and heard that Montreal maybe the venue (according to Steward). Well it a possibility. Could this fight be accepted and fought in Montreal which is becoming a good boxing town?
Montreal seems to be the fight capital of the world right now. All of their boxers draw huge crowds, and the UFC held an event there recently and it drew over 50,000 fans with a live gate of over $12M. Seeing as how Americans don't support their fighters, Dawson and Hopkins might as well fight eachother in Montreal.

I'm not too sure it would do amazing in Mtl... The draw was local fighters, but it would surely be a good test for Montreal, see how people would show up for a non-local fighter... Hmmm... It would still do fairly well imho, Hopkins did fight twice here, and although Dawson also did fight 2 times, I doubt Dawson would be much of a draw... But with Hopkin's new status, he'd probably sell out!
60$ non-HD, 70$ HD fight for Pascal-Hopkins 2 for us canadians... FWIW, paid for that fight, and skipped Mosley-Pac...
It will be in the US. I don't see how it will be packed when it doesn't involve a local fighter. I'm not Canadian of course and I'm not sure how boxing is regarded over there so hopefully I'm wrong.
Why not the crowd in the states won't hype this fight up like they would over there ..If Hopkins manages to win watch him move ..
Meh, we split it with a bunch of people, made a BBQ out of it so all good A couple of beers would have cost more at the Bell center, and for 70$ we wouldn't have had as comfortable seats nor as good a view so all good I guess... The fight really wasn't that bad, I'd have been much more disappointed with Pac & Mosley... At least Pascal did his best and the fight was not too bad... Can't say the same for the earlier fights, the 1st fight had this guy from BC, man, don't know where they found him, probably knocking down some trees in a forest somewhere... Maybe the worst boxer you have ever seen... It was hilarious! Dawson was indeed a snooze though... too bad I can't fight his name else I'd post the vid and we could all have a good laugh...
