He has to be up there. The guy has the psychology side of things down to a T. He is obviously an extremely intelligent individual.

The formula was quite easy really.

The Dark Lord simply told Groves not to keep his left Han Solo.

    Very good point!

They are a bunch of tools. Especially that butt wiping McDonnell.

He got his gameplan from Dirrell, that is where he had most of his sparring isn't it. Even the bending over and holding when close was Dirrellite.

I think in terms of preparation of his fighters Booth is a cut above anything domestically. The thing with the platform shoes for Haye/Valuev training camp is proof he thinks outside the box, I doubt McDonnell would do that, or if he did try he'd probably put them on his hands!

Haha people on this forum are so fickle. Just because George carried out a fairly basic strategy. Box on the outside and don't get drawn into a war. I think people should be praising George for boxing with such focus. Booth has done well with Haye and until now, George has shown flaws under Booths instruction. Lets not get carried away here. How about Joe Gallagher! He has a phenomonal track record. How about the Ingles taking young kids and turning them into champs!

  13. Trainers aren't split up into different weight classes so the "P4P" best trainer in Britain makes no sense at all.

Also, you can praise Booth all you like, much of it deserved, but don't try and convince anyone that he isn't more than a little bit creepy.

Exactly what I was gonna say, it's hardly a chess match against Kasparov, those two were an embarassment

yeah -there'sa lot of people who seem to be quite 'sniffy' about booth for some reason. that's twice now he's maanged to get his fighters to win their biggest fights by following his gameplan to the letter.
also nobldy seems to have mentioned much about groves' improvement - after all everyone was aying beforehand that he didn't stand a chance because he had no defence etc etc
