Floyd should work for HBO

  1. Floyd would make a brilliant commentator. I really think they should ditch steward and go with Floyd. His boxing knowledge is second to none.

    Can you imagine Manny commentating.

    I can picture it:

Him sat their, saying something like:

"I have just mailed Mayweather a deal, 2 minutes ago. He did not reply, so I have to fight someone else. I agree to all drug tests, and did drug test 2 minutes ago. I passed it, and the president of the USA told me I am clean"

And Michael Koncz, stood behind him, passing notes saying

    "shut up"

    haha

Merchant: Hopkins is fighting for the lineal championship at 46
Floyd: No its the WBC title
Merchant: Hes also the lineal that means the man that beat the man Floyd
Floyd: Have you ever boxed? Have you been a world champion?
Merchant: but he beat the man that....
Floyd: Have you ever boxed Larry? Have you been a world champion Larry Merchant?
    Merchant: Well......no
Floyd: Ya don't know **** about baaaaxing Larry Merchat you just commentate on it, I've boxed for 33years it's the WBC title, its the shinest belt, that's why I've got 5 of them, 5 shiney blinging shiney WBC belts, has Bernard got 5 WBC belts Larry? Does he?
Merchant: Well no I don't think so Floyd, this is pretty historic, fighting for the championship at the age of 46, what do you think about that?
Floyd: I think Bernard Hopkins has got 5 losses, that's 5 ways to beat him, I'm 41 and 0, there's no blue print to beat Floyd Mayweather, the only 5 things I have is 5 Shiney, Blinging WBC belts, Bernard Hopkins he hasn't got 5 shiney blinging WBC belts he has 5 losses, losses you know they aren't the same as WBC belts Larry
    Merchant: Well Yes
Floyd: 41-0, 41 have tried and 41 have failed
Merchant: Technically wasn't that only 40 and you fought 1 of them twice
Floyd: 41-0, 41 have tried and 41 have failed LARRY MERCHANT. Yes I did fight 1 of those boxers twice that's still 41 people Larry
Merchant: But it's really 40 people
Floyd: Have you ever boxed Larry? Have you been a world champion Larry Merchant?
    Merchant: No Floyd
Floyd: Ya don't know sheeeeet about BAAAXING Larry Marchant, I've boxed all my life I know what I'm talking about. 41-0, 41 have tried and 41 have failed

I love Floyds charisma and what he brings to boxing but he mumbles, constantly repeats himself 3 or 4 times whilst thinking of his next sentance, says the same **** over and over and refers to himself in the third person all the time.

for these reasons i cant see him commentating on HBO, plus he would probably demand 5 million dollars per fight he commentates on!!

floyd has no charisma and he cant speak very well, he will be stottering and repeating himself over and over.
I think hopkins would be a good commentator, also marquez for Spanish broadcasting, david haye also seems capable.

    Oh my!

I have a hunch that if they put Floyd on, he is going to actually say those lines.

    :rofl
