Guess what, fighting Martinez at LMW was too much to ask, so he picked a lightweight. Oh the irony.

I wonder if the possibility of Pacquiao fighting Mayweather even crossed their minds this time around, or did they go straight for JMM? I'm satisfied with them picking Juan, but it just drives the point home that yet another year is going to pass without the big fight. Does anyone realize by year's end it'll be TWO AND A HALF YEARS we've been waiting for that fight?

Yeah Yeah whatever, Fighting mayweather's leftovers.
Marquez Pacquiao I and II - JMM came in at 125 and 129 which was an ideal weight, also a time where JMM was at his peak.
Manny was a great fighter, but still learning most of his trade, Pacquiao drew and beat him, regardless of what anyone says that shouldve been the end.
But now that Marquez has gone older, slower, out of prime, Team Pacquiao want the fight...WHAT A SURPRISE?
And not at lighweight but at around 144? JMM wont be no contest for this manny pacquiao at that weight and their camp knows it, which is why they took this fight.

Stop fighting floyd's leftovers and fight the man himself.
Did Arum contact mayweather after this fight?
    Did Roach call him out?
    Did Pacquiao call him out?
Did Koncz say they should negotiate for the mayweather fight now?
Did Buboy say he wants manny to finally tap floyd's ass and negotiate?

    No, No and No.

**** this fight and Manny's reputation is also going down. First Clottey, then margarito, then Mosley (WTF?) And now this bull**** fight with an old, fat, out of prime JMM.

*******s really need to shut the **** up.

Sure its going to be better thn Pacman vs Shane cause JMM aint gonna run away. But fight is pointless.

Unless your name is not Victor Ortiz you should not fight with Pacman or Money. Cause your probably already beatin by those 2 guys.

Pacman vs Money its what it is.

I think it's a good fight considering the options available. It isn't Manny's fault that Mayweather won't fight him.

Floyd is on vacation by his own declaration. Why would anybody be contacting him about any fights?? :huh

The ball has been in Floyd's court since December 2009. He hasn't even started dribbling yet. Except in his pants, every time he hears Manny's name.

It is one of the more competitive bouts out there for Pac, regardless of the age and weight. I don't see JMM as favored to win obviously but you never know. I look forward to seeing him in his tune-up fight. He's made a few adjustments to his style that are hard to spot.
