    He looked like he was winning the fight against lebedev on saturday. Saw round 10 at the beginning and he looked like his old self even had lebedev in trouble with a left hook i believe. but for some reason he didnt finish it at that moment, his problem is that he loves to showboat:roll:. now getting back to the word, exposed. That chin of his, that is the problem. he was toying with lebedev in round 10 looking like he was gonna coast to victory then with 30 seconds left in the fight, i think it was less, like 15 secs, i dont remember, boom, it was over, right on the kisser. :scaredas: jones was a superb fighter back in the day with tools most of us wish we had. But, that shot from Tarver back in 2004 was the shot heard around the world. :p some fighter, but, his only weakness was his chin.

    What fight were you watching? Roy was going to lose a decision. He looked ok in spots, but for the most part his stamina was terrible. He would do ok for a minute of the round and then he couldnt fight at all for the other 2 minutes. He no longer has the legs and reflexes to avoid punches and his punch resistance is gone. Lebedev struggled with some of his movement and the way he set up some of his punches, but that was it.

    How the hell was his weakness his chin when he went up 4 weight classes and had never been knocked out or stunned really bad. The only guy to knock him down was De Valle in his entire career prior to the Tarver KO. He even took a few good shots from Ruiz. Roys punch resistance faded after he lost all that damn muscle. Up until then he had a decent chin.

    jones' steroid riddled chin is an absoloute disgrace :lol:

    mcclellen, benn, DM, prime calzaghe, eubank, nunn would have all shattered his chin way earlier if roy wasn't a serial ducker.

    um... I think it was more a matter about stealing Roys aura of invincibility and his self-confidence. Roy had such a hard time in Tarver I because he had trouble making weight - which was only natural considering the circumstances. Tarver still respected him too much or else he could have beaten him in their very first fight.
    Realizing this, Tarver didn't respect Roy in the rematch and landed a good shot on the chin that would have KOed many fighters. Since then, Roy wasn't deemed unbeatable anymore and fighters like Glen Johnson went all in while Roy was hesitant to do the things he could still do, but didn't dare to anymore as he had a mental blockage. And that lead to other KO loss. The Glen Johnson fight was a perfect example of this, and Tarver III too (to a lesser extent). Roy could've won these fights if he had only believed in himself.
    As for the Lebedev fight, it seems clear to me that Roy has been slipping in every department for years and his punch resitance has totally gone. It's not only his chin, it's that he's just not a good fighter anymore.

    Once Roy stopped fighting the bar tenders, sanitation workers and off duty cops, his exposure was inevitable. The steroid cheating serial ducking disgrace is the most overrated fighter of the last 20 years. And I include Wladamir Klitschko in that.

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl

    He didn't take ANY good shots from Ruiz and even if he had it would not have meant anything as Ruiz had not had a KO in 5 YEARS leading up to the Jones fight and it is why Roy handpicked him. Jones never had a Chin.

    Tarver is the man who goaded Roy back to 175lbs when he should have stayed higher. If it hadn't been for Tarver's trash talk, Roy might have got out of boxing sooner and with his brain still intact.

    Tarver was hitting Jones with powershots in their first fight and Jones wasn't hurt.

    Also you can't dominate for 10 years without getting hit with a huge shot, the fact is he was never seriously hurt when he was in his prime, and if if you watch some of his fights in the 90's you would see that he was hit numerous times.

    In reality Roy should have stayed at Heavyweight and had a Unification fight with Chris Byrd that would have been a winnable fight for him at the time. But, he was reluctant to do so because Byrd actually had skills unlike the handpicked Ruiz. :lol::rofl Par for the course for Jones who evaded anyone that had any skills in his Prime to fight no hopers and civil servants.

    Roy Jones boiling muscles from 193lbs->175lbs exposed him.

    Should've retired and called it a career in 2003 after his body stopped reacting the way he wanted it to.

    Put on muscle by enhancement drugs, probably DECA. Then shedding pure muscle, he did himself in. Someone should pull the plug on his career for him, he obviously can't do it himself, it's like a highly addictive drug for him.
