Lebedev has power advantage and seems too have a rock solid chin,
USS on the other side is much taller, has reach advantage and a superior jab.

One beat Huck, the other got robbed. So a fight between both would determin who the best is in one of boxing strongest divisions.

Why not Guillermo Jones? He beat Cunningham on many scorecards, obviously not on the officials. I never understood the Cunningham hype. His claim of fame is beating a very green Huck, finishing 1-1 vs. Wlodarczyk and outpointing ol'Braithwaite while he lost to Adamek, looked unimpressive to say at least vs. Ross and past his best vs. Licina. Have we just got used to calling him the best CW or is there REAL substance on his resume I'm missing?

IN their match i'd put my money on lebedev, cunnigham has way better resume though.

If Cunningham fights Lebedev the way he fought Adamek, he will most likely lose. It really depends on who manages to impose their style over the other fighter. Lebedev is really too slow for Cunningham and so I think the only chance for him is a stoppage, which is a real possibility. Cunningham's chin, while not glass, is average.

If an old, shot, fat and flabby RJJ can pot shot and outbox Lebedev then Cunningham wont lose a round.

I think I'd favour Lebedev. Cunningham is a good boxer but nothing special - at some point Lebedev gets to him and he has the power to put him away.

I'd like to see this happen though - there's no clear #1 in the division and this could help provide some clarity.

it also depends where they fight, because the jab & grab tactic of so many fighters often plays for them, mostly when the ref protects the graber. uss is much taller, so lebedev would have too fight in the inside, if cunn holds, him every time denis comes in and the ref doesnt say anything except break than uss should have an easy night.

question: is grabin n holding illegal, if you make it too often?

the problem with guill is he never fights....if he would come in shape, with the huge size he has, the iron chin I would favor him also over anybody, but he is overweight, looks unchaped and lebedev hits hard.

I heard he got robbed big time in this one, that he dominated nelson, even hurt him, it is hard too win in the UK
