Toney is good, but he will always be third against Roy,Hopkins and himself.

BHop has been willing to make big fights his whole career Jones wasn't. I don't see how anyone can rate Jones ahead of him especially now. Toney is a steroid cheat (just like Jones) who got caught not just once but twice.

I really, really wish these two had met when "prime"-ish.

I do think Jones had the style to beat Toney though

Not saying he was better than Toney. He wasn't. But he had the style to beat him

Well, if you select only his best fights Toney may look as good as RJJ or Hopkins. Otherwise it doesn't look as good for him.

Prime RJJ at least lost to no one (forget DQ, you know what I mean), and B-Hop lost only his debut (and RJJ fight). Toney, apart from schooling he got from RJJ, had his losses to Griffin (x2) or Thadzi... I think even his "win" over Tiberi should be included here.

Toney wasn't in his prime against Griffin dude. He took years and years to rebuild after the shattering embarassment of Jones fight that vast majority tipped him to win
