not surprised, a lot of fighters and fans look up to jones, even lebedev does, atleast it seemed that way for me. Everyone wants him to retire and get a safe hbo job, jones is the only person that keeps going on and taking punishment, at this point he annoys me more than feeling sorry for him.
jones gets put down a lot on these boards but ask other fighters how good jones was. there's a great respect from those who know what it's like get in the ring. not so much from jackoffs who sit behind keyboards.
