I'm a fan of Hopkins, and while I understand him being offended...he WON, made history, and a lot of money. The lawsuit is unnecessary. Now, if Pascal was still talking that "take the test" ****, after the fight...maybe it'd be time to file a lawsuit.

No boxer should malign another boxer's name in public. Do the requests/discussions privately in contract negotiations. Doing otherwise hurts the sports.

Hops wasting his time. should be a tough case for hops to prove - don't think a few post fight tests (which probably aren't super effective anyway) are enough to show that pascal's statements were false. obviously pascal was speaking out his ass, but it won't be easy and will cost a lot with lawyers. And he looks like a whiner for going after him. pascal helped sell this fight and hops should move on b/c there's not too many really believing his on ped's (tho who knows anyway)

Sooooo Pascal hypes the fight A LOT by asking BHOP to take the test. Lots of people pay for the pay per view, BHOP gets more money, benefits from the hype and then after he wins and become one of the top fighters EVER, he starts to cry for justice. His own lawsuit might ruin his legacy. I know the US has a different mentality on justice than in Canada, but I truely think he should drop these charges for the benefit of the sport.

In my opinion, each and every boxers has to TAKE THE TEST in order to set things straight. Pascal. Hopkins, Mayweather and Pacquiao. Cycling and baseball were almost destroyed by doping and steroids. The athletes should not have to take care of these type of things.

I'm shocked by the responses on this thread. Pascal made accusations that could put a living legend's entire career in doubt.

Everyone knows all about BHop's life style. He treats boxing like a full time job, and keeps himself in excellent physical condition at all times.

Pascal was way out of line, and I hope Hops follows through and wins.

Hopkins will open a door and who knows where that door will lead.

No more exciting pre-fight setup. Justice will prevail forever....! Hopkins is a ****ing idiot bringing this stuff to the tribunals.

You are talking about people who have been brainwashing themselves for the last two years trying to defend Mayweather's baseless accusations.

Sorry man, but common sense won't undo brainwashed ******ation.

They will throw Hopkins under a bus before they can deal with acknowledging how stupid they have been.

Dang for all I care Pascal could even be an oreo or his last name Mabunga Wigi Wigi he still black. Last name dont matter. Carmelo Anthony and Mark Aguirre have latino backgrounds they still brothas. Hopkins doesnt give a **** he looking out for himself. Nowadays it seems fighters take to heart about accusations of cheating than anything else.

Sorry boxing isnt popular enough for that. Infact boxers who are accused of steroids are lucky that boxing isnt popular. Or else there wouldnt be an argument whether to take a test or not.The public would demand it as they do in baseball.
