Wanting a clean sport has nothing to do with some arbitrary tests in the leadup to a fight. It has to be year round. Anyone who is serious will know this. Anyone who wants a clean sport will know this. Anyone who is just a ***** will ignore this fact.
Arbitrary? Fair enough whatever it takes. But stop trash talking every fighter and fan who wants tests. You and those of your ilk will be the final death kneel of the sport if it gets out a bunch of champions are doping. Its better to stop it now. You must not be American. So, how will I be the death knell of the sport by requesting to cut through the bull**** and actually implement something that works, instead of fighters playing pissy little games? Backing those pissy little games, buying into that **** where there is no intention of ever dealing with the problem... that's going to do nothing.
If the puch for a drug free sport is there - To compromise the cost - You could do it for title fights. But if it's PROPER "OSDT" is 24/7, 365 - Not just during camp.
You have no proof that they dont mean it. Mayweather and Pascal are top level athletes who train as hard as any athletes on the planet. Who are you to say they dont mean it. I know if I was a top level athlete I would want to make sure the sport was clean. Just because Pascal and Mayweather arent educated on the proper way to go about it or the science behind it does not mean they arent sincere. If boxing was popular, every boxer would be stringently tested. The only reason they arent as of now, has nothing to do with insincerity on the fighters part, but because the public largely doesnt care about the sport. You trashing everyone who suggests testing just sounds like bias on your part. I for one have no reason to like Pascal. He beat Chad Dawson one of my favorite fighters. I was cheering heavily for Bernard. But Im not dumb enough to think that testing isnt important, or that this sport doesnt need it. Frankly its sounds like Pacquiao fans are the only ones who are against it. Every boxer I've seen says they want it aswell.
There is no way BHop can win. Pascal's lawyer will say that fighters say false things just to promote a fight.
I only see two groups. 1) *****s with "Take the test" shirts, promoting nothing useful. Others who take the lead from Floyd on this issue. 2) People who are sincere about testing, who are promoting something useful. I know there are fringe groups out there, some think there should be no testing and that everyone should be on PEDs. But the main groups are those who are sincere about fixing things, and those who aren't. *****s fall into the latter category. I'm waiting for a fighter, any fighter, to volunteer to take year round tests. That is going to be the first person who really shows any kind of sincerity about the matter. Floyd, Pac, Pascal, Hopkins - none of them show any signs that they care about cleaning up the sport. But it is only Floyd flapping his gums about it.
The fact that you use the terms "*****" proves your bias. It seems you *******s are just anti testing because you are anti-Floyd. Is Pascal a *****? Is Andre Ward a *****? Was Mike Tyson a *****? All of them either demanded a test from an opponent or said it was a good idea. Your stance is harmful to the sport.

Hopkins should first tell that to his promoter and business partner. Not against it, it's basically the same thing Pac has done. These grubby baseless PED accusations need to be rubbed out of the sport as much as PEDs themselves do. If nothing is done, every punk with a big mouth can go around accusing anyone of using PEDs without consequence and it's badly hurting the sport.
