    I'm not saying tyson would have ruled the early 90's or anything but imagined him in a rematch with douglas, fights with old foreman, young holyfield, peak bowe, moorer. We'd have seen a prime-ish tyson against some elite level heavyweights and would be able to rank him much more accurately.

    As for hoya - winky I don't think it ever got close. Winky is the one man you could say hoya ducked. For years they were both top lmw's and p4p stars. Back then winky would have won I believe. It'd have been more like vargas - winky with wright pulling out a close decision imo.

    Another one that never got close but would have been mega significant with hindsight is pacman vs ayala.

    Schmelling v Braddock. Max would have won,and defended his title against Joe Louis. History would've then reverted to it's proper course.

  7. He wouldnt though as Louis's camp were adamant the title would have gone back to Germany and not been seen again thats why they offered so much money to Braddock to get the fight between louis and braddock rather than braddock schmeling.

    I know,Alex. Perversely,for those racist times,a black man (Louis) benefitted.

    Thread Starter already mentioned Holmes vs Foreman , I really thought it should have happened but since he mentioned it i didn't repeat it.
    Orlin Norris vs Chris Byrd is something that should have happened .

    God floyd robbed us of so many. His avoidance resume is greater than his actual resume.

    @135: casamayor, freitas (instead of his two no name defences)
    @140: tzyu (before gatti)
    @147: cotto, margo, williams, clottey (instead of retiring)
