Since the WBA will be stripping Haye of his titleholder status in the nosodistant future, can we honestly believe that Haye will show up to fight Wlad even though his belt will be gone and he won't have any interest in being slaughtered since Wlad's camp would follow suit in taking their titles off the line?

Why would they take his title?

Why did WBA take Chagaev's title away after he beat Valouev? Hell, they gave it back to Valouev!

Hell anything is possible. But I was under the impression that it was more likely Haye would become Super-champ or 5-star-champ or mega-champ or some other nonsense?

Why wouldn't WBA want Wlad as their champ?
He brings a lot of money with every title fight. They should be more than happy to collect their sanctioning commissions. :huh

My understanding (I might be wrong here) is that the WBA is in bed with certain promoters. Historically Don King, and I think recently Saurland too.

Don King wanted to sign the Klits, but they had no interest. Therefore they weren't allowed near his sanctioning body.

While the Klits won't sign with the promoters who are running the show, they don't get the WBA strap. At least, that is the theory?

It would be typical if they took Haye's title and gave it back to SNV
