Who gives a **** about who came out to see the Queen. LOL @ thinking your city is hard because less people came out to see her.
Any chance you jackeen and rebel scum could stop talkin shite about the Queen and get back to talking shite about boxing.
Firstly the population of Dublin was approximately 15% church of ireland/ unionist at the time of the royal visit of 1911 when we were given the nickname jackeens so it's understandable that she got a good reception in dublin at the time. trinity college even elected two unionist MP's during the election of 1918. Does cork have a valid excuse for such an over enthusiastic welcome today..? I'd imagine only the upper echelons of Dublin society turned up as the common folk (as you've described them) and the rest of the silent majority were happy to boycott the event. Fear not - I'm indifferent to what's going on in the premierhsip and have a fine understanding of the game of hurling and support my county irregardless of the management or the performances. Unlike Gardiner, Cusack & O'Hailpin I won't be turning my back on my county and unlike Mick Collins, Roy Keane and Steven Ireland I won't be turning my back on my country. P.S. your called the rebel county because you backed Perkin Warbeck for the English throne, you weren't rebelling against British rule, you were merely trying to exchange one English overlord for another :bbb
I'd nearly watch that only way is essex just for the amount of slags in it! Anyway, anyone else off to the presser in tallafornia tomorrow? Wonder what's their big announcement... Griffin v ?
theres 3 boxers boxing off at 60kg and mcdonagh isnt one of them, hes pulling out and threathening with high court action if he doesnt get sent to the europeans!
Are you serious? That sounds a bit outrageous! He'd wanna be careful really. If he is sure of his own ability he should shut up and try and win the box-offs. Of course he is going to be pissed off but "high court action" :huh If anything i'd say Adam Nolan has more of a reason to be pissed off. He was brilliant throughout the seniors. McDonagh can't exactly tell the iaba to stuff it and go pro cos really his tactics are only suited to the amateur game (and might not be any more with the new points system). Messy situation really isn't it? atsch
I ****ed up. I went into the stands with the rest of the chavs so that I could get a bit of elevation and video the fight or at least a round. I didnt bring the usual camera cos I wasnt officially working as I given a ringside seat by Frankie Gavinwas and was on the **** so I didnt want to lose the camera so said I would use me new feckin deadly iPhone as its all-signin all-dancin. So I start videoin and Spike stops him and I press stop and the video starts recording. So I ballsed it up basically - I five about 5 seconds of post fight action with Spike having his arm raised! :?
If its anything other than Patrick Hyland fighting a nobody for a no-mark shine bucket title then I will start writing for irish-boxing.com again, whilst eating my left bollock garnished with a straw hat. Peace, love and trinkets!
