I think Canelo's peaked. Hope Im wrong and he goes on to have a great run, 'cause I like him. But, humbally (sp?), I think he's gonna lose spectacularly, a la PW, at some point sooner than later. I also believe he doesnt possess true power and has less than adequate defense at this level. Again though, I hope he proves me wrong.
He'll blow out Rhodes. Watch, the better comp he faces, the better he will perform. He's a 20 yr old too, which is amazing.
When UR being fed patsies over and over again sooner or later you gonna get ****ed when you step into higher level of opposition. It'll just be a matter of time Canelo will get Bertoe'd if he faces someone who can crack cause trust me, he will get hit a lot of times. Canelo's defense is his offense. This pattern happens all the time..... You got Jacobs who got totally ****ed by Pirog, David Lemieux owned by Rubio and then BertHoe... Next is Canelo... You can book it :deal
By your theory, Golden Girl should match him with El Perro PWill or Cotto and he should walk all over them atschatschatsch
You are just a hater simply put. I don't think he will steam roll Rhodes, but I do believe it will be a competitive fight that will show Canelo real attributes against a good level opposition which only non hardcore fans will bash as to say who? Rhodes is who? Very good fight... after this day everyone will know what canelo posseses at 20 years old and will only continue to improve. Also for 20 years the level of opposition he has faced is incredible, and only getting better. :hi:
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl did you even see the fight??? Canelo dominated every minute of every single round!!!!!!!!! Hatton was tough but in NO WAY did he ever give canelo "hell" that's just funny
He might eventually get Berto'd but Ortiz is eons above Rhodes as a talent so it ain't happening in the Rhodes fight.....I can definetly see it happen when he finally fights a legit opponent.
Holding a title, he has higher expectations, whether realistic or not. He could be facing guys he just isn't ready for due the title, and get badly derailed. A case of putting a guy on a certain level before he is ready for it.
its sink or swim time - you gotta kick the fledgling out of the nest, even when you dont wanna let go.... give this great boy a chance to prove his worth...
Berto has fought much better opposition, so no Canelo probably won't lose since he is still fighting C and D Class fighters.
