I think he should cancel the fight and start calling Clev out while the iron is hot. I have no doubt he would spark Clev out cold, and then he is world champion. It is the right time for the fight now because of the verbals and it is fresh in everyones mind. McKenzie will probably get beaten by Bellew but he does have a dig on him and who knows what could happen if he lands on Bellew again. Why not just cancel that one and fight Clev. When he wins he can make a voluntary defence vs McKenzie.

Yeah cancel it and potentially have no fight. Great thinking Batman.

Do you even think before typing this stuff out?

well the 1st fight was a bit controversial its more experience against an akward foe and then TB can take on who ever else is available. The clev fight will happen sooner or later the lets do it now u f**** rat comment has seen to that - it might take a year or so depending on mandatorys or other commitments etc but im sure it will happen

Bellew should beat mcKenzie fairly easily really, especially with the Clev fight as motivation. Use the fight to increase profile further and get it on with Clev later in the year.

    Couldn't be easier could it?

So he should pull out of the McKenzie fight because he may possibly lose, instead fight Nathan Cleverly because that's a guaranteed win, then defend his world title against McKenzie who, as you just said, he has a chance of losing to?

Your argument has more holes, sir, than a Swiss...You get my drift.

No not at all, he needs to STOP mckenzie convincingly this time.

Although saying that I would like to see Bellew in with Cleverly ASAP, reason being is the longer he leaves it the more difficult the fight will be for him as the cutting of weight will hurt his performances more. Pains me to say it too, as i wouldnt mind seeing him drown that rat.

Hope he beats McKenzie (which is going to be a difficult task for him) and then gets Cleverley. Fingers crossed

Can see him looking past it, especially if Cleverley goes to it, and gettin knocked out early.

unfortunately you dont have the intelligence to comprehend so i have to spell out the following.

lose to mckensie now - massive massive setback
lose to cleverly now - not such a massive setback

beat mckensie now - clev might have moved on and not be available. therefore that leaves european level as his next attempt.
beat clev now - world champion, making much more money. capable of making some defenses and picking up more money.

    what makes more sense?

he should win but it only takes one punch because mckenzie is a big banger. he could get dropped again and it could go close on the cards due to some knockdowns. its a risky fight. fighting clev now would be much better
