if Mcdonagh isnt in the box offs who is? And whats their reason for not putting him in, age? Didnt Khan threaten legal action against team GB to get to the olympics in 04?

he looks pretty handy to me
whos to say he wouldnt box good in the pros
if hes good enough he would adapt
although as ye said maye he should just try and go out and prove hes the best

McDonagh will be in it (if they decide to definitely go ahead with it) along with DO Joyce and Eric Donovan. And you can see why, the others are more proven and Eric won a medal at the last ones aswell. For me it's 1) DFonovan 2) Joyce 3)McDonagh, the kid looked very good on his feet but is not ready for the big one.

Welterweight is the only weight definitely decided upon and will be between: JJ Joyce, McLaughlin, Roy Sheehan and Craig McCarthy. Adam Nolan is injured.
I'd love to see the old Roy take this but I it doesn't look like he'll ever get back that form which had him but a gee hair, IMO, from Beijing. Poxy hand injury.

The scores can't go down, are you sure it wasnt just scored as a draw initially? If it's a draw they have some sort of tiebreaker, and if it's still even after that the 5 judges pick a winner, so 3-2 would be a split decision.

It's not the ****ing queen, it's the English queen. The jackeen seems to be strong in quite a few of the Irish on this forum.
