i'll be rooting for adamek. if he moves a lot he will make vitaly look very old in there(he is indeed Veeeery old).. vitaly is there for taking.. go Adamek
I wouldnt base **** off of this performance becuase of the style that McBride does have can make for an ugly fight, look at his style against Grant a tall fighter who does know how to use his size and that jab, Adamek did very well there, though I thought Mike did just as good... However Grant is about 10 years removed from his very best days atleast thats what we beleive and if what we beleive is the truth Vitali should beat Adamek easily.... However I think Grant still has some juice left, and I also beleive Vitali is sooner or later going to show that age.... if Adamek can stay small and use the ring he can win this fight, its just hard to use that ring space when you have a man whos jab is like a long telephone poll smashing into your face.....
I think that's incorrect. The proof is in the pudding. If Adamek had zero power big guys like Golota, Arreola and Grant would steam roll through him. Never happened. And this is not just due to Adamek's movement. There were many times through out those fights were Adamek stood ground and exchanged punches. McBride said that while Adamek did not have the same type of power to cause bees in his head, he felt his power. And let's not forget Adamek has to stretch and punch up to get to those guys. So when people say that Adamek is some HW version of Pauli Malignaggi, that's an exaggeration to say the least. Its clear Adamek doesn't have adaquate power to KO a tall, big guy with one shot, but he has enough to keep them guessing.
Adamek is no heavyweight simple as that some cruisers can move to heavy but this guy simply isn't big enough. The guy ran from Mcbride ffs vitali ko within 5 rounds.
Very true. Adamek is there to win. He needs to use his size and weight as an advantage in the ring. If he is able to do this, he is going to win the fight. Being smaller means being quicker and being lighter gives you an advantage in the movement.
Trees in my backgarden grow faster than Vitali moves nowadays, Adamek has a far greater chance than people think.
so you dont know to much :yep september is 'wrzesień', altough my grammar knowledge is too poor to explain the reason but its like saying 'me bike got stolen' instead of 'my bike got stolen' :hey
There has not been a man to outbox Vitaly yet. It's getting possible at he's getting older, but it may never happen. Vitaly also has better workrate that Adamek. If Vitaly wants and maybe handpicks opponents a bit, he might be able to stay champ until Hopkins age.
Adamek is alot closer in height than i thought he would be. Adamek at CW and HW averages around 50-60 punches PPR. Vitali vs Johnson & Arreola averaged 80+ PPR. If anyone is going to be bothered by workrate it's going to be Adamek. Vitali has stated recently that he is unhappy with his fights going the distance and realizes it's because he throws arm punches and doesn't generate full power by sitting down on his shots. He said he's been working on changing that. Watch the destruction of Kirk Johnson to see what this means. When someone like Vitali says to himself "i'm unhappy with my inability to hurt guys" after putting Briggs in hospital for so long with a broken face it's a pretty scary thought lol I agree with this. He's not a KO puncher at HW but he has enough power to keep guys honest. Adamek's biggest mistake during most of his HW career imo is coming in a little too heavy and only throwing 2-3 punch combinations instead of 4-5. Speed is the key. In his fights vs Golota and Maddalone it was throwing 4,5,6 punches that allowed him to stun them, keep them hurt and finish them. I mean Maddalone went the distance with Boytsov and Mormeck who are serious punchers (but has been stopped by Holyfield and Minto) so he has a solid chin.
I agree. Adamek must be quicker and busier. His only chance to win rounds is to throw combinations though. He will probably work on Vitalis body in the early to middle rounds.
