Mayweather doesnt need combinations to WIN against Pacquiao. His defense will cause Manny to slow his attack and Mayweather will see the openings when Manny slows down. Typical Mayweather fight IMO. I always said Mayweather would be all wrong for Manny.

No I disagree Guerrero is a tuff kid but he gets smashed by Manny Pac easily....

I wouldnt say he is too much of a pot shot fighter, I mean he does counter very well, and look at those pot shots in there with Mosley or Marquez, those pot shots were snapping the mother ****ers heads back.... so its not like its just a contact shot, its a shot that makes you think before you jump at Floyd...

If he hadnt the power to hurt anybody, you would think that a guy who did hurt him would just steem roll his ass, But Mosley didnt why is that? ohh thats right he was too old....
Okay well if he didnt have the power to hurt anybody why didnt Oscar go after him? Ahhh Oscar was old to.. I forgot...
Listen the kid though I can not stand him for ****, he obviously hits hard enough to make heavy handed fighters think about just charging after him, Corrales who was undefeated and in his prime found that **** out the hard way...

Pac has holes?!?! NO WAY. That's new...

Sarcasm aside, everyone knows Pac isn't impossible to hit. The question is, how will his opponents react once the exchanges occur? Because that is going to happen a lot. Pac will take some to dish some out.

All his opponents knew of these openings, did decent for the first couple rounds, then BOOM. The tides change very quickly after an exchange happens when trying to exploit these "holes" in Pac's game. Cotto boxed him well for 2-3 rounds. As did Mosley. Look what happened eventually.

InB4 Cotto was weight drained and Mosley was old.

this is why I said a disciplined, slick defensive-minded fighter. Cotto was none of the above. He swung wrecklessly at Manny which is what got him put on his ass.

    This.

Mayweather will not win with potshotting. A single straight right, or a 1-2 and moving away won't be enough. You think Mayweather can throw 10-20 punches a round against the most active accurate puncher he'll ever face and win in the cards? Pshhh you're dreaming. Manny is coming for 12 rounds non stop. Marquez has the style, but not the physical capabalities to beat Manny. Turn him when he's coming in and countering with combos. You cannot be afraid to lose to beat Pacquiao. Mayweather cannot be too defensive.

I still pick Floyd to win because although his current style won't work for Manny, he still has the physical advantages, and the brains to make those adjustments to pull it off. If he can't make the adjustments for whatever reason and sticks to pot shotting, he will lose in the cards guaranteed.

    Lol "slick defensive-minded" fighter.......

You can't be defensive-minded against Pac. He is too accurate and active and will just build up points on activity alone.

I don't buy all this slick bull****. Marquez and Morales aren't "slick". They're the only ones that have given Pac hell. The way they fought Pac is the only way to beat him.
