I mean as much as I like Money Mayweather... he really has ducked quite a bit. I know he can't fight everyone at one time but my God... make the fight.

Were any of these fights in talks or in negotiations? Like for example the Tyson vs. Bowe fight was being called for 96-97, but talks broke down. I'm not sure of the issues behind either of these fights though. for example, I never knew Hearns and Jackson was an actual fight to be made... same thing with Hagler vs. Ayala. What happened to them?

Mayweather should not be allowed to fight for a title or fight for anything over 1 million dollars if he does NOT agree to fight Pacman within 6 months of his re-entry to the sport. That's that!

No prob. Talks for a Byrd vs. Toney and/Jones was in the making for a bit. Especially after Jones beat Ruiz. The Toney fight for Byrd was always one that was there to make but no one really wanted to pay money to see it. You know? Sometimes there are calls for bouts but no one is interested in putting up the money to see them fight.... so the extent with the latter; I don't think we were robbed.

Because of his opting to retire as soon as he did, we never got to see these fights:
Tunney vs Schmeling (Tunney W15 Schmeling)
    Tunney vs Sharkey (Tunney W15)
Tunney vs Carnera (Tunney TKO 10)
    Tunney vs Baer (Tunney W15)
    Tunney vs Braddock (Tunney W15)...
and I think Gene would have wisely retired at that point when Louis came of age..though his retirement would have been a common sense deal because he would be pretty much done by '35, but a prime Tunney vs Louis match still intrigues me.

I keep hearing about this Norris vs. Trinidad fight. Was it really that much hype around it. I'm not a big follower of Norris so I don't know what was being said.... perhaps it was something as fierce as the Mayweather vs. Pacman PROPOSED fight.

The Cotto vs. Hatton is also a fight we could have seen. Hatton got out before he got more thrashings.

Mosely vs. Trinidad is a BIG one. Damn. Fans were being robbed and continue to be robbed. This is horrible!
